Did you end up receiving that scholarship? 01-08-2026

Today could be the best day of your life.
I wouldn't know.
I wish it still mattered to me.

The Synoptic Problem

In ancient times, scholars did not agree,
On the order in which the gospels were written, you see?

Augustine thought it was Matthew, Mark, Luke and then John,
And his belief was widely accepted until Griesbach came along.

"Mark copied from Matthew and Luke," he more or less said,
But later scholars argued that Mark was the one who led.

Soon others posited the existence of someone called "Q,"
For it seemed there wasn't just one source, but two.

But this two-source theory would be challenged as well,
Did Q ever exist? They just couldn't tell.

A few scholars even applied a statistical technique,
But if a consensus exists, it remains rather weak.

Justina For Beauty Queen

Is that not High School Justina:
The Elder Sister of Tina?
So, why us she is getting leaner,?
Praying and fasting like Lena?
Or modeling like Martina:
Body reshaping to turn winner?
Now the craving of A Pageant
Wanting to life make pleasant...

So, she's dumping scholarship
For on - stage applause and worship?
God, help Day - Dreaming Justina
And not count her Rebel sinner...

Tommy's grade point is under.
His SAT's... a disgrace.

Mommy's paid off the college in cash (just in case)

One can't lower the bar to let rats in the race
and then wonder why rodents are running the place!

The Poor Girls Scholarship

The excitement in my heart went wild
I jumped in mid-thought,
Screams of joy followed
“I did it!” “I did it!”
Again I thought to myself
There was no endings after all
Only brand new beginnings
Sometimes along the way, I had fallen
But I always stood right back up
I didn’t sulk, and have a pissy attitude
I made sure that I never gave up
And look at me now, as I stand here
Tall and proud
I did it, and I did it exceptionally well
I hear people shout and chant my name
Tears of joy will my eyes
I cry a little, and then I make sure the tears die
I walk across the stage, and get that piece of paper that I deserve
I never thought this would happen to me
I am beyond happy.
