I’d never climb up any mountain
Must be too cold on the top
Neither I’d dive in the fountain
Nor in the ocean I’d flop
I’d never explore scenic outskirts
Of historical towns and sites
If you claim it’s a bogus alert
I guess you are probably right
But living a life of serene
Is quite a challenge these days
I’m happy with lack of adrenalin
Approaching no dangerous ways
I watch all the worth in my shell
Without any useless commotion
I reckon you do it as well
Saving this world from erosion.

O Saviours!
We wondered through the valley
Our hands clenched together
Culture destroyed us
Our mother's tongue brought pain to us
It torn us apart and brought subjugated Joy
Here you come,"to save"
Here you come,"to help"
Here we sit, eyes shut;arms akimbo waiting
Here you are:
Setting up schools, preaching the gospel, building industries, inventing scary magnificent giants, producing multi-coloured pomade in the name of pigmentation
What happened?
Our melanin! Our pride was stripped off!
O Saviours! O Saviours!
You hurt us
You hurt our land
You hurt our world
O Saviours!O Saviours!
You saved us
You brought good to us
You made us wise

“Hello, my name is Lewis, can I order a coke,
Garlic bread with two large pizzas to go.
Extra mozzarella cheese, a few basil leaves
On the finest hand- kneaded pure dough.”
I love the garlic, the beautiful mushrooms,
Oregano, anchovies, and tomato.
Spread ad hoc all over the thin crust,
An edible Starry Nights by Van Gough.
Margherita pizzas made with fresh, non- processed things,
With love and a heart that’s so real.
Make me blissful and satisfied, and healthy and content,
A happy kind of feeling of surreal.
All the delivery options: Supreme, Meat lovers,
Mexican, Pepperoni, and a Veggie Sensation.
I love each one, could eat each all day long,
Completely nourishing my thoughts of starvation.
So a big “thank you”, to the people from Italy,
For inventing such a huge meal with those flavors.
A super, mega, healthy dish, so colorful and vibrant,
Your chefs are our global culinary saviours.

We rushed out of doors
To find a young lass on the crossroads
Lying helplessly in pain
With a scooter toppled
Over her injured self
A car had knocked her down
And sped off with disheartening speed
She was breathing and I put my hand
Under her head to comfort
As my husband dislodged
Her from the scooter and we
Brought her home and laid her on bed
Cleaned her wounds and called her parents
A smile curled up their worried faces
At God's grace
A decade later on the highway
My husband's car crashed into a tree
While saving a running dog
Stuck between a jammed steering wheel and seat
He lay bleeding and mutilated
A saviour stopped and dislodged him
Took him to a nearby hospice
Not a penny stolen from his heavy pocket
He handed over everything of value
That he could gauge from the car
Leaving as silently as he had entered into our lives
No name no identity no trace of himself
The hospital contacted us from his diary
Everything fitted in as if planned by bigger hands
His angels are everywhere
Even in places notorious for robbing and killing

They fight for our freedom, they fight to survive
Yet pittance is paid with a great loss of life!
From women to men all part of the team
Not knowing if they will wake up from their dream
Risking their own lives day after day
Yet people who kick a ball seems to get way better pay
These people say goodbye not knowing if it's their last
Are they going to have a future or will this be their past
You don't hear them complain as they check out for mines
Even though it could be the very last time
It's a job, it's a career, no it's a service to you
Keeping you safe & the country that they respect too
The respect given to soldiers is never enough
They die for us, they fight for us, they stand for what they love!

To change a heart of stone,
To teach His very ways.
To give His guidance,
To guide in every way,
To love so very deep,
