Our Saviours
They fight for our freedom, they fight to survive
Yet pittance is paid with a great loss of life!
From women to men all part of the team
Not knowing if they will wake up from their dream
Risking their own lives day after day
Yet people who kick a ball seems to get way better pay
These people say goodbye not knowing if it's their last
Are they going to have a future or will this be their past
You don't hear them complain as they check out for mines
Even though it could be the very last time
It's a job, it's a career, no it's a service to you
Keeping you safe & the country that they respect too
The respect given to soldiers is never enough
They die for us, they fight for us, they stand for what they love!
