Take three visually vibrant colors
inherent in my desire, heart and mind
symbolic red cross, Saint George recovers
faith, hope and belonging that doth remind,
dark blue background defines my inner thoughts
no sign of sadness, swirls of happiness
associated Saint Andrew, great Scots
marriage of colors, blend of nobleness,
pure as snow, brilliant white shapes my psychic
clearly brings solitude joining our saints
secured unity, George, Andrew, Patrick
minds of peace, colors no need for repaints,
my minds colored red, white and blue, not black
safe in the shadow of our Union Jack.

You were God’s athlete, horst of the Tatra’s ridge -
salt of Earth.
Some tried to kill you, as they killed saint Andrew Bobola
and you were mortally wounded.
Your blood was spilled with suffer,
but you never quit till death.
You kissed the soil, dirt of Earth,
upon visiting every country.
God came to you in the vision.
You knew as humans – every part,
dignity to all of us you gave.
With death your work did not expire.
Miracles only are required
and Heaven has them all – saints of power.

This poem you now read
Is of a wonderful man
A brother of old
From a far away land
He stands for so many
On this planet we call earth
To their hearts he was taken
A man of worth
Georgia, Malta
Russia, the Ukraine
To all they admire
This difference of men
In the country of Alba
The Kingdom of the Scot's
When the Saltire flies
We forget him not
On the 30th of November
To the Scot's so true
It's his day
Our patron, Saint Andrew

Test of Time
Who builds courage with
time?
Who with a right character
Always looks delight like a
star?
Who endures in cloudy climes,
with moderation as her
shelter?
Who approaches all asperities
with passion?
They that have perseverance
and endures with aplomb
They that are tolerant
those who are insouciance
They that have endurance
And that are noble
They that are temperate
Those who are patient.
For all poetry soup members
and my love Margret.I love
you
all.
Saint Andrew Joseph
