You claimed to want me,
but never felt me within;
I bought such smooth lies,
captured by your charisma;
I’m a sucker for soulful;
Stay titanium;
I tell myself get control;
Crotch rocket science,
ignore the magnetic draw;
That thrill is temporary;
The drive of your mouth,
devouring my senses;
I mourn that first kiss,
it sits consuming my mind;
This craving is just too much.
Orbiting earth at a ludicrous pace
No gravity: stuff flys all over the place
A notebook floats by, would it not be great
If we could have brought even one paperweight
I don't think basketball is hard to understand,
It's all about shooting the ball using my hand.

our day
Thursday
was always
our day until
as of late i made
the statement
close to landing
on the moon but mis
taken and both misquoted
"That's one small step for a man..."
leaps and
bounds later
i find i can't find
her yet know she's
there so back i go to
sleep
where
i will find
her seemingly
next to me yet i
leapt
didn't
she know
it was "a man"
on the moon and
breaking
up Houston
the real quote
"we've had a problem
here" but she's nowhere
near
nearly
falling back
into sleep but
needing to speak
or at
least write
it was today but
now not even tonight
but the early hours of Thursday
Here's a revelation, do you want to lose weight
well don't let the bus drop you outside your gate.
Another revelation is this, are your finances
disappearing in the mist. don't spend more than you earn,
I had to learn a big lesson from this.
