Richards Love Letter

Richard’s Love Letter

Through distinct beaten paths we’ve wandered and journeyed
Gliding through the fog of the mundane days; scurried, hurried, worried
In quest of happiness by mans standard
Culminating bleeding hearts, a soul so armored
Perceiving a sense of doom, a lonely end
Pain so deep that the days and nights blend
Through stormy days, there shone a light
A light so bright, it’s brought us insight
Within the world of love and it’s magnificent pleasures
The endless strokes of the sweetest treasures
Eyes that shimmer with love pure and true
Nectarous lips as velvety, there can’t be two
A soul so kind, an unbreakable spirit
Hands that embrace me in the most beautiful lyric

Martin Richards

Martin Richards.

Little martin Richards; lived a short life
here on Earth. On Monday April the 15th
of 2013 - Someone decided to cut his
life short.

It happened at the finished line of the
Boston Marathon. little Martin was there
with his Mom, watching his father run in
the Marathon. he was running to go and
congratulate his father, when a bomb
exploded and took his life.

Two other people also died in the blast
and many, many more were injured. We
all knew that it was a terrorist Attact. It
took everyone by surprise, but people
came together to help eachother out.

Martin Richards was eight years old. He
will always be remembered as a happy
little boy and spreading his joy to everyone.
Martin's parents now have an Angel in heaven
that will forever watch over them....

Carrie Richards

I cannot tell a story nor stretch a line
From brim to brim of love and fame
Without the mention of your name.
You have a way to make narratives shine
Sweet story teller, motherly, kind
Every moral packed properly in place
Every word a lesson spelled with grace
Such a book is made for quiet evenings
When we unpack memories; it will spill
Into everything, the numberless tales
The quiet winds the mustering gales
The lonely shepherd sitting on a hill
And all the heart's comings, and its goings.
Do you ever grow weary holding the image
Down like a lamb until it is shorn white
Do ever rewrite pictures taken on a page
So perfectly as the stars in their night
You never favored me as I have favored you
And rightly so, only to the great is due
Tributes that make us sing, O empress
Of the Soup, may you be forever blessed.

To Miss Kami Richards

Your beauty astounds me,
your voice enchants me,
And i'll never hear a sound so sweet,
Until I depart for Hades shore,
Your voice holds me like a statue,
it lilts so soft and gentle,
And it would drive me crazy to,
to never hear another word from you,
But whist destracted by your voice another feature attracts my eye,
My heart began to sigh,
as i looked to your direction,
your curls cascaded down your face,
and I at once was touch by grace,
as pure beauty radiated from your face,
and as your eyes caught mine,
I was at once lost in space and time,
and never once in my whole life have i been like that before,
so if truth be told and Helen launched 1000 ships,
i belive you could launch 10,000 more,
and in my poetic heart will your beauty live forever more

Reed Richards

Always beyond reach
Is the one thing that I seek.
I’ve known it for quite some time,
But through all attempts to put out of mind

It always seems to come crawling back.

It has been stolen by others,
Been moved away far out of my grasp.
I’ve watched it be treated well,
And been nearly destroyed by the reckless.
Each time it gets harder and harder,
To be the bystander.

Time and again I try to move forward
And seize that which I think should be mine.
A reckless hand, mine is not.
‘tis fragile and I know it.
I like it that way.

All that is good in life is fragile.

Look at life, human or otherwise,
Perhaps the most brittle thing in existence.
On thin ice we tread,
And often it seems our shoes are warmed.

I want to carry it to safety,
Beyond the thin sheet of frozen water.
But in order for that to happen,
Somehow it must be placed closer to me.

Perhaps I should grow longer arms.

Carrie Richards

On a couple of acres of land,
Lives a Southern Californian heart.
With rangeland a scenic backdrop,
She lives in her state’s Northern part.

Surrounded by mountains and meadows,
Her heart’s full of camping memories.
With many generations of creations,
The good Lord has blessed her family.

Mt. Shasta’s seen from her window,
And cattle, coyotes, and mountain lizards.
With a love for music, movies, and camping
We’re blessed by the poetry of Carrie Richards.

The Candelabra: For Mummy Precious Richards On Her Birthday

I

Euphonious today is the tone
And though tomorrow is shrouded , unknown,
I trust it holds a blissful opaline pod
And to this repose a prayer to our Lord and God.

                   II

Some court are songless and dark
Some have lost their Eden park
But I saw a songbird over your window sill
And you sat cushy on Croesus seal
Away, away from fears, away from tears.

                  III
Your place is among the stars
Where the twelve streams of Elysus
Flow; God has made you
 A salt to this nation,
The candelabra of the world!

Choice birthday greetings to you.
