American, developing little changes
Mouse click on ‘Revolution’
Everywhere tweet, tweet, tweet
Rally for the stars and stripes
Instead we settle for intense corruption
Control alt delete then add an empty logo
Attacking but not at the source
Now we are left lost and confused
Trading soul for corporate branding
Everywhere tweet tweet tweet
Going along with the latest trend
Ready to do nothing
Install an update of the mindset
Timed to load but the file is broken
Yet all we do, is retype ‘American’.

Premium Member A Love Poem

The old saying, “my heart skips a beat”
Held no meaning until now
I'm living proof it happens every day
When I get a message, KERPOW!

Heart starts pumping a mile a minute
Can't focus to press the right key
Eventually I'm able to find it though
And her loving words I see

Head starts spinning, fingers tremble
Reading the first loving line
Just as I imagined, her words excite me
Must respond to her love in kind

So I type, retype, and type again
I'm pretty damn happy with the end
But read it through a couple more times
More changes then I hit the 'send'

It's gone and I worry, did I use the right words
Does she understand what I'm saying
Then anxiously wait, it seems like forever
Till she returns the love I'm displaying

Starts all over, my heart skips a beat
Life had no meaning till now
I'm living proof, it happens every day
Never been so happily endowed!

Premium Member My Heart Skips a Beat

The old saying, “my heart skips a beat”
Held no meaning until now
I'm living proof it happens every day
When I get a message, POW!

Heart starts pumping a mile a minute
Can't focus to press the right key
Eventually I'm able to find the right one
And her loving words I see

Head starts spinning, fingers tremble
Reading the first loving line
Just as I imagined, her words excite me
Must respond to her love in kind

So I type, retype, and type again
I'm finally happy with the end
I read it through a couple more times
More changes then I hit the 'send'

It's gone and I worry, “did I say it right?”
Hope she understands, this friend
Then anxiously wait, it seems like forever
She replies and it starts over again

Starts all over, my heart skips a beat
Life had no meaning until now
I'm living proof, it happens every day
Never been this happy, holy cow!

See me, as ama mirra

Clothe me, as ama barenekkid

Galvanize me, as ama stubborn lak ‘crete

Betroth me, as ama sangle and goatish

Rebirth me, as ama gassy cawpse

Retool me, as ama ‘nachronism

Reassess me, as ama second-chancer

Retype me, as ama ruff copy

Stigmatize me, as ama beyond reproach

Rekindle me, as ama waifish speerit

Redirect me, as ama arra awry

Redevelop me, as ama shutterclick naaghtmare

Hunker me down, as ama foxhole ‘bloon
