Premium MemberAn Autumn Prayer

Dear Lord.  It's been a long hot Summer; bring on Fall. May the earth receive a 'thermal reprive'; bring on Fall. The planet has been reeling from the heat;

please, bring on Fall. Fires have reeked havoc and scorched the forests; bring on Fall. Many properties are burning and lives are being taken, bring on Fall

As nature's fury rages, may we cease not to look to you; bring on Fall
The smoke is blowing from west to east, from sea to sea; bring on Fall

Clear the air, let rain clouds appear, wild animals smile and stare; bring
on Fall. Day after day, rays of the sun, and I cannot remember when I last

saw rain; bring on Fall. The Fall may bring more fires and hurricanes, but at
least it's cool and the trees are beautiful. Raking colorful leaves that fall from

the trees would be a welcomed change; so bring on Fall. O Sovereign Lord. Grant us a break today; bring on Fall we pray; and for now, that is all.

Premium MemberI Leave You a Kiss

I leave you a kiss
On the pillow where you lay your head
Since I cannot, it must kiss you instead
And I hope it will whisper sweetly
The words I have folded neatly
In its lavender scented weave
That I cannot say- because I must leave

I leave you a kiss
In your silverware drawer, on a spoon
Hoping it will kiss you sometime soon
With your honey and cereal for breakfast
Or a bowl of ice cream's frozen mist
When you catch a moment's reprive
But try to forget I had to leave

I leave you a kiss
On the pocket of your shirt
In case you ever get hurt
Or to ease your broken heart
In the time that we're apart
Every time you chance to grieve
When you remember I had to leave

I leave you a kiss
Just hanging in the airyou
Walk by and it will meet you there
Just stand by my dresser and kiss it
Or if you happen to miss it
It will sweeten your dreams at night
Making them pleasant and bright
Making you almost believe
That I never had to leave

Evening Reprive

night creeps in slowly silently
envelopes me in darkness like a warm blanket
hiding the brutal reality of the day
forgiving its failures
like broken promises scattered on my empty soul

God's Turnabouts

The devil cruised down,
To New Orleans,La,
With plan in his heart,
From the Broussards part,
He claimed alot of souls,
With temptation of a plan,
One very unholy,
Sinful lawbreaking scam,
One offering money to those who would join,
A serious deception created,
From his hand,
If you went for the money,
For the love of it,
You lost your soul,
Because of it,
If it was because they scared,
You into it,
You got a reprive because,
Of it,
If you chose to hurt,
Me and my kids on purpose,
You lost your soul,
And all contol of it,
God doesn't do that just for me,
He would do it for anyone,
Whose been put through unbelievable,
Pain and misery,
When a good person is outnumbered,
By an evil amount,
God goes to bat,
And you better watch out,
A good soul and family,
Outnumbered by alot,
Has God batting a thousand,
Turnabouts for all who fudgged up,
People determined to keep doing wrong,
By this little woman and children,
Will not be singing any song.

Dying Love

Thrashing waves pounding against the rocks, the sound
of distant seaguls screaching from afar, all seem to know
the time is near

Distantly the amber glow of a lonely lighthouse seems
to be fading further and further out of sight, shadows
now make it only visable

Fading in and out, I can still feel the numbness which
has actually become my only reprive from reality

Ever so close now, my love, time is no longer a commodity
nor is it even an equation

Smoky spaces seem to be more present than the air
inwich I breath
Even after the seagulls no longer cry, the lighthouse
loses its shadow, after the doves now replace the darkness,
will I Ever stop loving you.........
