My eyes have found in your seams
While walking over the edges of my garment.
The intricate stitches, holding together the efforts of the steam iron
Become these knots untied.
The layers and layers and layers of fabric
Potentially protecting me from your prickly needles!
With all that is left within me -
Fragments, rivulets, pieces in teeny tiny composition carefully conniving against my obvious will.
But surely if you please
Spare me the reintroduction to you
My dearest seamstress.
the light blue snow eyes of winter creep into the meadow
she glistens with a dazzling whiteness that brings silence
a hush is created as lightly falling snow lands as glitzy cover
icy frost may follow, which will bring crunch to footsteps
I admire winter’s mark, she makes no apology for frozen tundra
doing what she does best, giving us a sparkling prettiness
snow deepens while winter sends in wind to stun us into silence
there is a revitalization I feel in her frosty reintroduction.
Angels assigned faeries to Patty.
To give her a warm welcome to heaven
They eased her in gradually,
Telling her bits and pieces at a time.
Showing her that she had left her body
But reminding her that she will have a new body
They replicated her home bed.
Knowing that she has been through a lot.
The chemo had taken her blonde hair.
Now she had it back, and her health too.
Faeries! She said, delighted, not caring about her death.
Remembering now that death is not permanent; it is pliable.
The body may be gone, but the spirit lives on, in faerie land.
Her easement was a reintroduction
to where her spirit began prior to this lifetime.

There is the belief of hope
A manifestation
Then
There is the understanding of hope
A divination
Then there is the writing of hope
A salvation
Then there is the preaching of hope
A manipulation
Then there is the deriving of hope
A blasphemy
Then there is the raping of hope
A sinning-nation
Then there is the spreading of hope
A commercialization
Then there is the remembrance of hope
A realization
Then there is the questioning of hope
An inquiry
Then there is the discarding of hope
A mistake
Then comes the hopelessness of understanding
An irony
Then lies the realization of understanding
A comedy
Then comes the reintroduction of hope
A mischievous cycle
Then comes the substitution
An analysis
Here is the variable
An assessment
Hope is to religion, as oppression is to slavery
