Peace of mind

PEACE OF MIND

left hurt and wounded by my own actions,
yeah you started it but i didnt have to go there,
i shouldve just minded my business,
ignored the situation,
but i didnt,
i couldnt bite my tongue,
i couldn’t refute the anger you sent me in shockwaves,
words that i shouldve said but i didnt,
words that i shouldnt of said but did,
things i did in anger,
my actions speak louder than my words ever could,
all you seen were my actions,
you never even comprehended my words.

Eclectic Notions On A Sunbeam

Eclectic Notions on A Sunbeam

I cannot see inside your mind unless it’s telescopic
On bended knee it rains sublime with the next contentious topic
I’m rendered please into decline as I am incline to stop it
Befriended a line of enchanted rhyme to retreat from the myopic

Auspicious arguments that have no point or vision
Vicious bargains that consort to continue upon their mission
Superstitious monuments that distort the acquisition
Pernicious paradigms for high concept mimes that refute the inquisition

Social intimidation before you’ve even left the house
Perocial lamentations leave you quiet as a mouse
Antisocial inclinations at the introverted house
Precocial salutations that leave me wanting to renounce

Perspectives on the global scene bereft of accuracy or intention
Detectives of the broken dreams wishing upon the next invention
Reflective thoughts before the scream to bequeath an intercession
Eclectic notions on a sunbeam underneath my last confession

Refute, Return

a grieving heart hears the pain
how many times must it echo again
direction askew from days tossed aside
no longer can tragic history abide
time for re-joice to be embraced
sounding the depths of dignity traced
empty shell cracked fault lines abundant
peeling a past rampant redundant
interdicting near-future most nobly
thence reach inexhaustible sanctity

February 14th

In a world of festivities, we prioritize the frivolous,
Elevating Valentine's Day, a celebration quite dubious.

February 14th, a day assigned to love's display,
Yet, I refute this notion, for love should be everyday.

In my culture, this celebration reeks of absurdity,
Promoting premature sexuality, a moral calamity.

Should we allocate a day for love's celebration?
Does this imply we've been fostering hatred in iteration?

Even young learners, grades 6 and above, are caught,
In the web of crushes, a trend that's quite distraught.

In Africa, hotel rooms are booked, a Valentine's spree,
Teenagers dominate, leaving one to ponder the decree.

Are we more Catholic than the Pope, in our fervor and zeal?
Valentine's Day, a celebration that love's true meaning does conceal.

So, if you choose to celebrate, do so with reverence and might,
Upholding cultural heritage, and the sanctity of love's light.

Let organizations, schools, and families unite,
Educating teenagers on the dangers of sexual abuse, a love that's not right.

Premium MemberIn the city of silence, shadows dance slowly

In the city of silence, shadows dance slowly,
The garden of forgetfulness hides a secret lowly,
Dreams are born in minds that no longer believe,
People pass by, lost in thoughts that deceive.
Tolerance is the virtue of those without faith,
But how to believe when all fades to wraith?
On the pathways of conscience, I tread with care,
Deciphering voices lost in shadow's lair.
It's not the evils named evil we dispute,
But the forgivable ones, we often refute.
The world's a stage, playing roles unguessed,
Lines spoken without feeling, unconfessed.
In the garden's melancholic magic, I find anew,
Another truth I often dream to pursue.
Whispers of wind carry memories of yore,
The living flame of hope that endures evermore.
In the stream of consciousness, I let myself drift,
Between dream and reality, in the rift,
Seeking the light lost in unspoken queries,
On the wings of thought, to faded answers and theories.

Flower For A Partner

Many flowers show off their blossom
Each has its own beauty and design
Presenting to the one who cared for them
Some of these flowers will be gone on display
For an adorned lover purchased them for a gift
Some of them will remain in the garden
For some other day's given time for business
Finding partner is like finding flower
That suit your taste and liking
If not fitting, you won't choose it
If you like it, you negotiate and refute
Till you agreed with the seller, you will get the right price
This flower is yours, smelled and put into your bosom
Bring it with you and put into the best part of your home.

Yestouurdaned

Speak ye undesired person of
Unscrupulous need

She spoke....
As ye hast desired from a far
Might this togetherness
Make reason to adore me.
I speak in third person
Oh desirest of love
The nights of tendered
Mercies. Where we couple
And desires are.
Lover in night to look
Upon me in candlelite
Dwellingsspeak me as
Yours in all that is
Telling.
To those I fake in a calm
Sense of need.
That one's ego swells with
One's desire of me
Might I love you in Eden
To be pregnant in Rome
In famine where hunger
 preaches to me
Have me as they own
Then in drought to
Which temperature swell
Might I love adorned
 and satisfied
As we refute hell
Together as one
They rod devine
Sweet tender thoughts
Of you as mine
Even in doubt
May begin
To champion you
From love
My lover and friend
Echo tommorrow
They canyon deep
Our promises
Our sacred keep
Marriage as one
Us together
In times of doubt
It's us forever!

Teen Felix got pissed as a newt
His actions he could not dispute
He pee’d in the sink
Caused by demon drink
What happened next he can’t refute

He perched on the sink for a dump
Brown faeces came out of his rump
The weight of his load
Made the sink implode
My brother I just want to thump!

JUST BECOZ

JUST BECOZ

Whether courage, a heart, or a brain
Their absence may cause you pain
Find the witch of the East
Or the wizard of Oz at least
The search for these things is insane

The munchkins may seem so cute
An observation you cannot refute
But when asked the way
All they would say
The yellow brick road is the route

Read the books by Frank L Baum
Despite each being a bit of a tome
You know how it feels
Just start tapping those heels
And say There’s no place like home

”to burn is not to refute” ~ Giordano Bruno’s last words

Burnt alive at the stake for mere dissent,
Bruno’s soul returns to question the church,
why he was killed just for his strange accent,
which but explored a new path for God-search,
stating love’s peace dove, in all hearts does perch.

Hymns of psalms and music from Krishna’s flute,
both whisper love songs that soul may reboot
and so path any, does not God’s light shine
on all of mankind, that hearts contribute
to align souls under the oneness sign?

I poured the dark ink on the page
To warn the once and future sage
That somewhere in this cryptic maze
Within the laughter resided rage

For poetry’s a field of mines
Of prickly thorns and clinging vines
Of predators with gaping maws
Of ice cream soda’s without straws

For all I do is hold the pen
I do not tell it where or when
I only know that when it starts
I never know where it will end

The ink is neither foul nor fair
It forms the words but doesn’t care
For it is not a part of them
Just looping lines that help them share

Un-knotted truths and jumbled lies
As grease stains of now cold French fries
Deny the sun its great reprise
My sleepless eyes refute it’s rise

Must take it in ( yet a minion of saturn ) in robes black as sin.' Taking no heed of (one hundred thousand dr's more)
Has denied Derry's people by applying un-law full of false
Gravitas is this person no doubt!! Ensconsed in affluence
With a hard dirty snout, immersed in the trough now thats
My (take away) can you beleive how far lifes fallen? Yet
Let Derry's people have last say.!

Adventures Of Atek

Once in Sikkim a ranch owner,
Employed young Atek as a herder.
Who dedicatedly looked after the animals,
In a pure place where no one travels.
He loved to play his melodious flute,
Made of the Lepcha bamboo shoot.
He played aplenty tunes forlorn,
Every night and every morn.
A dusk he played the flute in drear,
Jyamphi Moong appeared from no where.
He saw a Yeti extremely scary,
Reverse footed and very hairy.
And then a song he did compute,
On his exotic bamboo flute.
Jyamphi Moong loved his music,
But poor Atek! He became too sick.
Then he avoided playing the flute,
So that the Yeti, he could refute.
But the Yeti would not restrain,
Insisted that he continued the refrain.
He felt like the Yeti's pawn,
Being forced to play on and on.
Later with a bonfire, Atek was ready,
Applying butter on his whole body.
Simultaneously, he played the flute,
For sure, he wanted Yeti to elute.
Yeti applied butter just like him,
Especially on each and every limb.
The buttered hairy body was afire,
The Yeti fled towards the hill still on fire.
Ever since Yeti lives in the Himalayan terrain,
This is where she likes to remain.

CLEVER

CLEVER

One likes to think oneself as clever
Always ironic, and with a wry grin
Yet the great leveller is often poetry
As it sorts the wheat from the chaff
And rhyme and metre can be a faff
All is fair in love, war and creativity
Such that we must take it on the chin
And abandon our high seat forever

When that thought or image strikes
As cold logic succumbs to inspiration
Did the brain have a sporting chance
It doesn’t matter what may be true
As one grasps the irrelevance of I.Q
And respects taking an emotive stance
Free verse has a sort of perturbation
Resonant with what someone likes

So, cleverness was never an absolute
And courage is needed to just let go
Some final tweaks and edits may work
After all the arrows have been loosed
The one in the target is the mot juste
Yet off to one side, other words lurk
It’s what you think not what you know
And claims of genius one must refute

To Noise

you drape an arm over me,

busying the other with your phone

its screen is hurting my eyes and your chin is hurting my ribs, but i don’t say that

      i don’t say a thing

           it’s too late, i say

i don’t want to disturb you

i can’t handle another fight today

                                                my mouth is closed

           i want to scream

i want to make a noise

that you won’t be able to pick apart and refute

i want to tell you that i’m unhappy,

            that i want out

that i want to make it all stop

all the fights, all the tension in my chest,

    all the arguments i lose

                           i want it to be gone;

for us to be okay again,

for your jokes to make me smile

and your lips to make me weak

i don’t want silence
