Premium Memberleave red panda alone please

Red panda was lazier than his friend the sloth
Just leave me alone, he said to Goth
If I want to raise my head I will later
But this second I want to lie like a gator

Premium MemberRed Panda Dressed As Robin Hood

Who made red panda Robin Hood? My cousin asked.
No idea, but go along with it if you can, I replied.
His hat is feathered, and he is amply flasked.
And he is walking the path, now coming inside.

Hello fair Robin Hood, my cousin said quickly.
His words turned upbeat lickety-split-ly.
I laughed at my cousin, who is afraid of this creature.
But invites him to stay over to watch a double feature.

Why did you do that? I whisper as Robin robs us.
It is irritating to me, as he steals my parakeet, Gus.
I was terrified, my cousin says, I did not know what to say.
That is no big deal for my cousin, actually, a typical day.

Premium MemberRed Panda and Giant Panda

Red Panda aka Foxfire got lost when her plane fell into the China Sea.
She drifted ashore, and was discovered by a giant black and white he.
What are you? The monster asked, fearing she was an alien creature.
A bit afraid of her eighteen inch long tail, her most prominent feature.

I am a panda, she said, but she looked more like a skunk or raccoon.
The giant panda from China began laughing, his chuckles went to the moon.
You certainly are not! He said. You do not look a thing like my wife or me.
He was as amused as a panda whose dinner was interrupted could be.

I am an Eastern Himalayan panda, she told him; but I fell out of that plane.
Do you have some tasty leaves or perhaps a tiny bit of sugar cane?
The fluffy Giant Panda puffed up his black and white fur.
“Come along, you hungry thing,” he told her “I have the cure.”

They ate bamboo for about twelve hours, before she said her name was Niece
Here is a thought, Giant told her “In China, my kind is the symbol of peace
“You are an endangered species,” Niece said, but not in a mean kind of way.
They became the best of friends then, and began to eat together every day.

Premium MemberThe Little Red Panda In a Yellow Starred Bandana

*I believe I've awoken the little red panda
donning five yellow stars on a crimson bandana
spreading hectares of jaded Jinping propaganda*

*She lives in a land of dragons and Maoist oppression
I think I'm becoming her latest star spangled obsession
Sad,she'll probably never breathe sweetened air of the free
or feel warmth from the torch of Staten Island's fairest lady*

*As she tap taps away on her communist keys.
Careful not to say anything blue about her chairman Xi.
She knows with a slip of the mind -one twitch of the teeth.
She'll be chum to the yellow sharks of the south China sea...
I Hope someday she has the means and courage to finally flee.
Sing a song for old Hong Kong over sweet cups of green peace*

* If you ever make your way over, don't tote any echo locaters.
Unless it's a pod of democracy dolphins-they tend to be voters -not haters.
They'll batter yellow sharks if you drift from the star spangled breakers.
God bless to your journey -I pray that you stay safe and finally make it*

Red Panda

I’m not like my cousins, I’m gentle you see.
I do all my living and eating from a tree.

I’m cute and I’m soft, but never should you touch.
A stuffed version of me would be loved very much.

A rare breed I am, I am special, they say.
So stop tearing down trees or I’ll go away!

I’m here for you now to gaze in wonder upon.
Know, I might go, due to things man has done.

So enjoy me for now and take pictures of me
As I eat this bamboo while sitting in this tree.

for my daughter Megan
