Recover Poems

Days alone

Days Alone

Here I stayed
when the silence broke—
the air, a breath
that barely woke me.

Your name lit up my phone,
but the meaning felt long gone.
I cried alone
to feel the sorrow,
a night too dark
to hold tomorrow.

The rain stood still,
in borrowed time,
each drop a pause
in my decline.

Soft, endless,
unheard—I spoke.
The truth was raw,
my voice near broke.
No comfort came,
no hand to

Premium Memberwhat it takes to recover

Recovery turns to reduction.
Curing a disorder of consumption through crumbs,
Staring at the dish before me,
An enemy of the state of my mind.
I fear I’ll turn back to a pantry for protection,
While taking microbites in front of peers.
My fear turns to fullness,
And I empty my being,
My soul,
My vitality
And flush it away.

Recover

Now after I recovered from this,
which took place in grimy abysses,
I had the feeling I can execute my wishes,
without needing to feel kisses.

So when realizing was once welcoming in front of the door,
giving luck was giving me more,
Since I always was made for,
giving people core,
because that is what made

Premium MemberI'Ll Never Recover From This One

My girlfriend's back,
I've really missed her.
And all the times,
I really kissed her.

So hot to trot,
I can't resist her.
Till I found out,
She was my sister.

Turn the Key

Turn in the key, a journey awaits,
A new perspective awaits to be seen.
The wind calls for a change of pace,
A new flow for a fresh start in place.

The Lord is the one who defines,
Love and joy, with no boundaries in mind.
Defeat and trauma cannot stay,
The joy of the Lord will help lead the way.

Be strong

Missing You

And there you were,
Standing right before me,
You didn't see me,
But I did.
I fell. I fell in love.

You were busy with your friends,
Having a good time,
Laughing, giggling,
Cherishing every fleeting moment,
You kept walking towards me,
And all I did,
Was stand still.

I tried, but

Premium MemberLife May Be Simple

Sometimes life may be simple
Especially after you recovered from
A certain sickness
Being bedded too long is dull
Sickness makes you suffer and worry
Sickness is a burden to everyone
You find many things not meaningful
You have to rest for a further journey
You have to regain energy on and off
Not to work for greeds and desires
The devils of your

Inspired Sunshine

INSPIRED SUNSHINE

Sunshine and serenity, a piece of mind upon,
the wings of an eagle, above the great beyond,
far away from the pull, that tugged me to the ground,
and kept me from my family, and left no one around,
that cared about my presence, and used me for my kindness,
so I climbed upon an eagle, and Christ healed

Premium MemberMend My Wounds

Hover over my trauma, sharp as a vulture, swoop
Surround old scenarios with an offer to devour
Wipe the memory card of pain I play on loop
Grab my glitches with talon weapon power
Wounds bouncing red announce danger

Jab at, stab, peck out infection, empty of pulse
Rip it, sniff the adrenalin, swallow all sorrow
Pluck eyeball delicate, until blank

A Vice Called Desire

It hurt so good,
that little edge of pleasure
you can only have when assorted with pain.
Just enough agony to make you feel alive
Just enough to keep you sane.

It hurt so good,
that I didn't even realized
there wasn't any pleasure,
Just and old addiction
to the same old pain.

Grounding

You won't know what it's like to heal until you can feel gravity,

Until the cavity in your heart takes skin from your soul and grafts itself anew.

See, once you've had a little taste of trauma, you expect it for every meal, and you keel over in pain when disdain isn't there for comfort.

Anxiety becomes your

We Do Recover

Once when darkness seemed the only escape
I felt right at home
Because I succumbed to the reality of the drug
I felt right at home
Although it became the norm deep down inside I knew it was wrong
I felt right at home
I embraced the sensation because it was so elusive
I felt right at home
Unequivocally I could not differentiate

Honeybee

i love the early morning rasp of his voice
the birthmarks and burn scars
midsummer skin
i love the sticky rash of lust
the way a heart ticks until it implodes
the sugar soaked kisses

i do not love the way he smacks my face
the way he pushes too hard
the ways he does not love me kindly

i do not love my
