Recapitulating Poems | Examples

Premium MemberFeeling Fine in February

February is a love song
composed on the mood of spring
in the tempo of a Christmas waltz,
modulating to estival embraces—
recapitulating vernal feelings
when autumn falls.

February is a pulsing heartbeat,
a twinkling eye,
a bold susurration,
here and gone in twenty-eight days—
an interrupted cadence.
The whole world would be stoned
should Cupid's quivers march along.

February is a bouquet of roses,
a box of chocolates;
goblets of a bubbly cherry wine,
threads of scarlet satin suited for ballroom romances;
two salmon swimming upstream undaunted
to birth the next generation.

Recapitulating

Recapitulating

(Embryonic Parallelism)

While wondering and then continually waiting,
My mind was manipulating and recapitulating;
Had looked around;
Fingers were found;
To play piano really do need more educating.

Premium MemberNew Year Resolutions

Recapitulating in a paper
A year that is ending soon
Reviewing with a clear mind
Top priorities for the 2017

Leaving behind negativity
Search for a new outlook
Planning for the future
Tasting the flavor of life

Understanding that nothing
Happens without a reason
A lesson or a blessing
Evoke a new you

Premium MemberMilestone Birthday

A new decade is in front of you to embrace
Reaping the sow of seeds planted in years
Walking the path life has traced without fear
Collecting the joys and sorrows within you

Looking back, makes remember memories
Younger days without worries in the mind
Until one day, you became the strong man
Molded strongly with teaching experiences

Nowadays, is a loving husband and father
Hopelessly devoted to his dearly beloved wife
Until someday, death till you apart forever
Leaving as a legacy two beautiful daughters

Celebrate with your dearest ones your big day
Recapitulating the most important moments
Captured in the bottom of your gold heart
Keepsaked for the future coming birthdays

Dedicated to an excellent Poet and esteemed friend
At his birthday

Premium MemberFate

Stoling my heart as a fugitive in the night
Causing a deep desolation in my
spirit
Tears falling as raindrops were
at sight
Thinking about who had the culprit

Twilight appeared promptly in the gray
firmament
Blending a spectrum of hues in one
tone
Sounds of night impressed a great
sentiment
Threading a symphony in the zone

Recapitulating the idilic remembraces
of erstwhile
Emotions sometimes decide the
final statement
Leading to a detour after while
Following a change that will be a
great achievement

Breath the liberty of broken barriers
Succeding to undiscovered frontiers

Prison of Chalk Lines

He wonders in silence aloud screaming
speaking to his own reflection unseen
memorized moments unfolding backward
like a rubber band unwinding
in its given way and own time
as fear brings clouds nearer
yet denial looms larger than life
a victim of someone else
escaped culpability captures him again
overtaken suddenly in shock
he looks dismayed at his own handiwork

so he calls a tempest forward
drawing on his smallest self
intentionally blinded by accident
using his own staff
stabbing his heart in pain
rather than holding onto firm ground
some angst jumps across his chest
rejected by God's unsent mercy
disallowed by his own sheer will
an unforgiving menace to himself
suffocated by his own hands
that reach from behind him like a serpent
as if someone else was his poison

stepping backward as fast as he gains
like a turtle in his shell he shies away
alone this night a meal digesting hastily
recapitulating the day ahead
even before it has begun
this kind of present haunts him today
as yesterday's unlearned lessons creep
into another day and life
swirling as if in a vortex
he refuses to breach the circle
that grips him tightly as if
in his own prison of chalk lines
