Freedom
Free

When we did not get freedom
with pain we were numb
we so much cowed down we became dumb
leaders toiled and the results have come
Soon after freedom our memories turned weak
forgot the too meek
he who taught us peace
to put everything at ease
Non-violence he preached till he did cease
Doing so we got freedom with ease
He sweat ,for our freedom was in threat
Leaders of the past we never met
Fruits of their labour we now get
Thank you men of substance of the past
for us you observed a fast
You told us to forget the cast
in your mould I hope we were cast
