Divinely Sufficed
Cleaving to the Lord’s omnipotent love
offered as gift from Almighty above
reaching down to me with abounding grace---
...my soul’s vital need for triumphant race.
Pleasing God while seeking gracious favor
nourished by His omniscient truth savor
blest along entrusted stewardship role---
...my faith ascends toward fulfillment goal.
Compassion-driven against selfish greed
propelled by the Saviour’s power indeed
I confess arrogance lurking in vain---
...as my heart yearns for contentment bliss-gain.
Propped upward kingdom-engagement though weak
grateful still for constant revival peak
my spirit abides* in the will of Christ
…desideratum, divinely sufficed.
*John 15:4 Abide in me (Jesus Christ), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
