To Him Who Overcomes Revelations 2:17 Part One

Revelations 2: 17 To Him who over comes

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
I will give him some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a
white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who
receives it.

Commentary

The Apostle John wrote that promise to the angel of the church
of Pergamum through the book of Revelation. When the Holy
Spirit had him write to him who over comes--it was because
the masculine gender was the correct and proper gender
to use in all matters of important correspondence. As the
appointed head of his household, he was instructed to
pass on any important messages to his entire household.

Q: Why is Jesus giving all of us who endure unto the end
a white stone?

A. To be very brief, the white stone (of the month
of October's white opal birth stone) was used as the
Statement of Acquittal use whenever a prisoner
was acquitted...) A black stone, represented
a prisoner to be guilty as charged.

A 1 Therefore when He gives us our white opals,
He will not only write our new names on it. It will
also publicly declare our pardons aka our Acquittals!
Declaring our innocence of all of our sins forever
 more!

Q What is a white stone?

A Altogether, the White Stone represents a new
identity, election, innocence, safe passage, honor,
privilege, and hospitality. It also represents our
victories in Jesus Christ!

Q When anyone else know our new name written
on our white stones?

A. Nobody but us and also God because
He gave us our new names in the first place.

Q. What will our new name symbolize?
The degree of our brand new spirituals'
transformations we receive.

Q. What does hidden manna symbolize as
mentioned in Revelation 2:17?

A. Some of it was stored in the ark of the
covenant.

Al. It was the manna from heaven that GOD
fed the children of Israel during their
wilderness wanderings and it was also
considered to be the food of the angels.

A2. It was a sign of God's generous hospitality
and God's presence. It also pointed to Jesus'
coming to save us and give us new life.
Jesus's offer of "hidden manna" Reminds
us that he is the bread of life?
(John 6:32-35)

Revelations 3:11-12

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have,
so no one will take your crown. Him who over
comes I will make him a pillar in the temple
of my God. Never again will he leave it. I
will write on him the name of my God.
