PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO INSTRUCTS US TO HUMBLE OURSELVES BEFORE HIM
April 19 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on 1Kings 21-22
Key Verse – 1Kings 21:28-29 And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO INSTRUCTS US
TO HUMBLE OURSELVES BEFORE HIM
Praise be to God for instructing us to humble ourselves before Him:
Propped by our relationship with Him as His people He redeemed
Projecting our repentance while pursuing for His peace and revival
Provided with His rejuvenation and promised restoration
Preventing our rebellion toward performance of responsibilities
Poised by His righteousness that presents rejoicing reconciliation
1Kings 22:7 Praise be to the Lord Who invites
us to inquire from Him for our:
Safety along His salvation-settlement
Security according to His Scriptures’ standards
Success by His satisfaction-sufficiency
Sanctification from selfishness-spoilage
Service with His Spirit’s steadfastness
1Kings 22:16 Praise be to the Saviour for
exhorting us to tell the truth in His name:
Bringing to Him honor and glory
Bearing His hope with His goodness
Boasting about His heavenly greatness
Benefitting from His helping hands of grace
Building lives by His holiness as well as guidance. Amen!
