My Rose Pendant

You came into my life
When I was struggling with the storms,
My eyes were shut,
My breathing was slow,
My lungs were dusty,
There was no glow,
But you,
My heart,
You, you, you,
You embroidered something in my soul,
Something beautiful more than my eyes can speak,
Something dangerous more than my words can decipher,
I thought there was no love until
It was just
You, you, you,
On the tip of my tongue
Like honey flowing from a dipped soulless rose,
I haven't even kissed you,
I wish I could just hold you,
Your hands entwined with my hands
Like blooming ivy sprinkled with crimson roses,
Holding your hand
Is my heaven, my redemption, my sanctuary, my oasis,
My, my, my,
But you are not mine,
My first love,
A rose pendant
That you gave me
It shows my soul
But it doesn't belong to me
It's somebody else's ,
I can't adorn it on my neck,
My fluttering fragile fingers
Unlocked the aureate chain,
My eyes captured it one last time,
My mouth whispered ‘I love you’ to
The core of the rose to
Keep my words sealed sacredly for eternity,
My eyes started raining ragged, rolling tears,
And I threw it away from me,
Far, far away,
In the endless sky,
Into the sea,
It's gone,
It's gone,
But my heart still whispers your name,
I can feel it in my breath,
In my bones,
Like a gush of blood,
Metallic, mesmerizing muse smell
That comes out of a letter written
By blood by a miserable lover
Longing to exist in the lover's breathing
And dreams and hopes,
My mind is a museum full of you,
I wish my heart was a necklace too.
