Mortally Wounded
Mortally wounded.
.
A ripple stirs upon the stagnant murky pool
Of my darken tormented mind
What would have my life
Have been like if my soul
Hadn’t been battered
My acid drenched heart imprisoned and confined
.
And that some great force hadn’t knocked me senseless
Leaving me like a run over as a rabbit
Left on the side of the road scarlet flowing
Like ravines of rain
Mortally wounded
And in excruciating unbearable pain
.
To have found my other half
To fill a hole
Pick me up and make me smile
And have been a happy loving parent
To a needy playful child
.
Beggars cannot be chooses
And the one’s with beautiful soul and heart
Are walked upon
And hapless losers
Tied to the rafters of cruel adversity
.
For once I dared to dream
I’d find a loving soul
To share my domain and kingdom
And be my devoted ruler of my heart
My Queen
.
I never asked to be born
Be plagued by demons
Have my life tossed away
Like a piece of scrunched up paper
My heart ripped and torn
.
Once cursed by a gypsy
In search of silver
But had not to give
How I hate life a ball and chain
And no longer
Want to live.
