Words Which Inspire Silence
Thick clouds of unanswered questions
eclipse the clear light thought to be seen.
Bewildered by election news again,
our ears quit as humans opine.
Voices heard yield little understanding
in a vacant struggle just to be heard.
Hardened clay won't remold overnight;
this losing fight rewarded by mere tolerance.
