The Smiling Old Sun-Cl
The sun above us in the sky
provides for life on earth each day.
It’s like a big hot apple pie
that shines a slice of warmth our way.
We thank God for each streaming ray
that awakens the morning eye.
In sleep, in work, in rest and play
the smiling old sun passes by.
