FAITH IN GOD WHO ATTENDS TO OUR PRAYER
God attends to our prayer with His presence
As we seek Him by faith’s diligence
Being glad for His loving prevalence
For our devoted persistence.
God attends to our prayer with His care
As we trust Him by faith’s courageous dare
Being thankful for His goodness we can share
For our spiritual welfare.
God attends to our prayer with His concern for our soul
As we rely on Him by faith’s direction toward heavenly goal
Being triumphant to reach servanthood pole
For our jubilant praises, gloriously whole.
God attends to our prayer with His peace
As we abide in Him by faith’s increase
Being watchful against worldly ease
For our honest motive that He alone we please.
God attends to our prayer with His compassion
As we esteem Him by faith’s vision
Being grateful that He grants us His provision
For our timely supply against dearth’s oppression.
God attends to our prayer with His answer to our need
As we depend on Him by faith’s deed
Being hopeful to see His miracles while His Word we heed
For our great testimony that from doubt we are freed.
God attends to our prayer with His certainty
As we worship Him by faith’s authority
Being steadfast in serving Him with sincerity
For our continuous involvement in soulwinning activity.
