It is not the roaring lion
or the pounding in his chase,
but his nuzzle of affection
and his tender touch embrace.
It is not the violent whirlwind
or the earthquake splitting rock,
but faint playing of the heartstrings
and the barely sounded knock.
Although our God consumes with fire
and terrifies with awe,
the quieted soul of peaceful man
comes through heart's open door.
a butterfly, fluttering;
Those caterpillar feet’s down walking;
Hush!
God’s quieting
Blessed!
Our survival
A sleeping baby coos;
A grandma’s hug;
A puppy kiss on your cheek;
Blessed!
Our survival a,
Rush
God’s quieting
A fragranting smell;
God awesomeness;
Brilliance abundance;
A hush!
God’s quieting
Blessed!
Our survival
God’s quieting
a butterfly, fluttering;
Those caterpillar feet’s down walking;
Hush!
God’s quieting
Blessed!
Our survival, God’s quieting

When the day is done, and all the lights I lit are gone,
... I think of you, in ways I never thought I'd do.
When I imagine the many ways, to spend with you thru the days,
... I pray and hope of things to do, that others haven’t done with you.
When I see you in the deep of night, my mind is tranced by your sight.
... I lose my thoughts, forget my lines, and wish you near, all the time.
The
Quieting
The scriptures Lord, I read and find
You waiting,
humbled and
weeping
grateful
for
Thee
Thy gift of
Salvation
given
to
me.
Late evening humid
Silence stretches out its legs
