Primitiveness Poems | Examples

The Primitive Men

Simple, innocent and decent they were
Never timid for they were raw
Always observant
Always on their own and supportive when needed
Doing what they felt was right
No diversity in religion
No contradictory ideologies
No rigorous search for true love
For in their environment existed real and true love
Food they had in abundance
For agriculture was their lifestyle
Then there came globalization
Bringing with it modern evolution
Then there they are in confusion
I am of J, I am of M
Now the order of the day
Gradually their primitiveness is no longer primitive
They are no longer supportive
For competition is now the order of the day
Each man with his ambition and selfish interest

The Night Circus

After dark I feel
The need to be awake
In the forbidden world
The world that shows
Me my mirror
Of hope, despair, glory
A true story

After dark civilization goes to bed
Primitiveness reigns away
The ugly looks beautiful
And all are in unison
Riches and rags
Virgin to whore
We all go through
The same door

After dark the sun retires
The moon prevails
With a thousand blind eyes
One sees it all
One hears it all
Tomorrow?
Denial

After dark sounds sound
Sounder
Louder
Sharper
The dark darkness
Brighter

After dark emptiness befriends
Intoxicating booze
Lighter spirit
Gently infused

Bottled up emotions
The bottle helps …
To confess

Finding a Home

Finding a home
Amidst earth turmoil i drift
Breaking free from my old self
Took a toil on me
Blighted by sacred primitiveness
Because my spirit is entwined with mundane
I want to be free like the a soaring eagle
I want to be true to be my true self
Be at peace with nature
Be at peace with the pieces of my being
But i doubt if nature will be romance my stake
I want a place i can call my home
Which place can i call home?
Is it being you or being true to myself?
