How many “good” deeds were done in the earth. Believe me,
it wasn’t all bad. No one counted on Noah’s preach being right.
ITs RAINING
Alive and well whilst hell’s on fire.
Whistles and bells, I know you hear!
Your sole is hot, the coals conspire.
That breath could be your last to fear.
“I did a deed that’s good! See that?”
Your chest thrust out…they’re adding up.
What does God see, previewing stat?
The question is, “What’s your back up?”
Are you a god? Beat your record?
Mere man, what can you do - that good?
Do you think you deserve award?
Do you rely on stone and wood?
We are cursed men who miss the mark.
Caught in deluge, except the ark.

I
No, my dearies, beautiful Grace did not weep that day
It is a matter of weeping over grace at mealtime
Not to make a federal case out of it, but one day
Alone, did say grace, knew my veggies were divine
II
The tears began to fall: "Jesus, your amazing provision!"
Vegetarian I was, but only cook veg in my home
I recalled islands I toured: Trinidad, Mauritius, Reunion
When it was harder to eat well, as I was not alone
III
Not bragging, but since that day I'm aware Jesus is near
Very interested in my food preferences, always proving
His title, "Jehovah Jireh" even as He took Isaac's spear
When we walk with Him, plain food becomes communion!
NOTE: In Genesis 22, Abraham is about to sacrifice his son, Isaac, to prove to God he, Abraham, is obedient & trusting in the Resurrection. When the Angel stopped the killing, a ram was substituted. High up a mount, all alone, a single male sheep? Caught & crowned by thorns? That was a Christophany, previewing Jesus' willingness to die in our place. In this chapter we find God revealing this aspect of His provisoning for His flock: YHWH Yireh

At times i find myself, revisiting the past,
not living each day as though it were my last.
Wasting time, enumerating years that mount,
previewing God’s blessings to numerous to count.
At times I’m lower, “than a moles belly on digging day,”
which is always an inducement for me to pray.

Avid anteaters ate artichokes
Blossoming beyond barley’s beauty,
Classic chews can clearly
Deny delivering dangerous dangling dates
Evening eggplants enormous evolved ecstatic
Ferocious fig fritters furthering Frito’s finesse.
Galloping gingerbread giants gobbling goats gelatin,
Hurrying heavily handsome hindquarters
Imagining illustriously ignorant
Jealous juried jams
Killing king’s kiwi kingdoms.
Lazy llamas laughed lightly
Making monster muffins melt
Near Neville Nettle’s nearest nutty nerves.
Opulent Ostrich ostracizes olive oils,
Putting putrid previewing pastries past
Quality quizzing quails'
Ridiculously rancid roasts
Seriously swimming sideways since strawberries
Traveled toward tender turkey talk,
Undermining understudy’s uninteresting
Very vivacious vixen’s vigorously vain vixens
Who will work wonders when
‘xtra ‘xtravagant ‘xtrapolations
Yell, yowl, yippee yelping
Zeroing zealous zealots’ zesty zeal.

I need a daddy like that one.
I want that mommy, she will show me how to organize.
That sister would be terrific!
Sorry, they only have room for one, and I've already locked them in.
My arrival date has already been registered in the accountability book.
Yes, it is time for the souls who are brave enough
to return to a new lifetime to choose their families.
They must choose wisely, keeping in mind what
lessons they have not mastered.
No soul wants to waste a trip, worse yet, come back early.
It is too hard on the families.
Everyone is optimistic in the viewing room today.
We are previewing the prospective families with open attitudes,
and loving hearts. Some souls are jumping up and down
with excitement, I have too much adrenalin to jump.
Being reincarnated is an important decision.
You consult your spirit guides, and angels.
If you are extremely fortunate, a master
will stop by and give you a nod or smile.
Even they are not supposed to influence you.
There is no pushing in heaven,
so choose wisely.

Somewhere in eastern Oregon
at the top of a long hill
I came upon a sea of golden grain.
The sun was just right
and a whisper of a breeze
made mock flames of the waving grain.
This sea had no end,
it appeared to climb the horizon--
a tidal wave to an ethereal shore.
The sky was a blue I never knew,
and the air seemed mine alone.
I knew i was previewing paradise.
I lingered to lengthen the moment
buoyed by this landlocked sea.
I saw it ages ago, but it is alive and free.
In reverie, the grain is still sheeted gold,
a breeze still fashions the grains as flames,
and the sea yet ascends the horizon.
The scene forever changes me.

Monotonous keyboards clicking
Redundant clocks ticking
Phones ringing, elevator doors swinging
Coffee pots brewing, vending machines spewing
Insouciant workers, carefree shirkers loitering
Clerks, secretaries previewing, managers reviewing
Visitors on stairs, in lobby chairs, lines queuing
Fate's dissonant chords o'er content hordes teeming
From Crescent's waning moon, spell of doom flinging
Across availing sky, a wailing strain is stringing
A portentous raven o'er torrentous swells winging
To his charted course, a venal force with guile clinging
Feral beast an imminent peril to prey quickly bringing
On the ethereal cusp perching, for crown jewel searching
Swooping down with force, beams from foundation divorce
Death's shadow in dust o'er screaming remnants streaming
Night's, palling darkness Day's ordained glint stalling
