The most sweetest appetising apple
Cream of the crop
On the apple cart
Is placed on the top
And tastes divine
Aesthetically pleasing
Attracting many to bite
But sometimes
Rotten to the core
But if not
It's something you want more and more
It's the dreamer's wish
The prettier the girl
The sweeter the kiss.

I bought a diamond on a ring
' was the most beautiful diamond I had ever seen
I gave it away to you
You were the prettier of the two

She was much prettier in death
than any day she had been alive
her mouth softly closed
eyes in gentle repose
no yelling
no grouching
no griping
no complaining
I saw her husband’s genuine smile
For the first time ever
at her funeral luncheon,
And I had lived next door to them for thirty-six years.

The Eiffel Tower gives up its power,
When seductive Paris we travel through.
Mayfair is oft-huddled in a shower,
Tahitian lagoons lose their dreamy blue.
Little awe Greek islands inspire in me,
The romance of the Taj Mahal does pall,
An aurora’s magic I’m slow to see,
Each place we go I feel I’ve seen it all.
The eye no Saharan sky can excite,
Few vistas thrill on a hot air balloon.
The Arctic presents no breathtaking sight,
In Rio I’m hardly over the moon.
The loveliest scene pales next to your face,
And no glimpse of paradise can amaze.

Because the way you held me last night
Faded into elastic animosity
Your hands conjoined with
This lustful grind,
Bringing me to a dilapidated heaven
But, you forgot to believe in Him.
You sucked off the beliefs of
Yesterday’s fulfilling lie
…
Now these truths you prayed for
Come undone
Watching
Waiting
For this burdened error
To tell you lies
Tell you sweet, little lies
While you caress validations’ gavel
Wishing I would collapse
Under the grasp of another scheming
Photographic smile
As words become defeated cries
Oh, my sweet little cries
Of an inflated tomorrow
Just to pleasure your flaccid hopes
For how ugly
You wished for my smiles
Oh, my sweet little smiles
To be
Your fantasied hips
Will dance with my
Empowering lips,
No longer
For this scattered tongue
Overstayed its welcome
And your vindicated landscape
Will never be the final word
In how beautiful I truly am
Inside

You're not going to see my
picture
on the cover of a magazine
And as far as worldwide travel
goes
here's the only place I've been.
Now I'm not looking for an oil
man,
investment banker or movie
star
But I'll be damned if I'm willing
to play
the part at a 2:00 am closing
bar.
Girls talk just like boys talk
and we know all your corny
lines
About going ugly early and
getting prettier at closing time
We watch you step up to the
plate
And then swing at every pitch
Tell us what you think we want
to hear
Pretend that you're filthy rich.
A word to the wise to all those
guys
Who still play this silly game
Being male does not exclude
you
From the morning walk of
shame.
