I've always hated
The word whore.
It crawls like a worm,
Itching my skin.
Nobody should be called that.
Not the polygamous.
Not the monogamous,
For having premarital sex.
Not the ones who get paid for it.
Not the way it's misused
By those who think they're better,
Which none of us is.
You're moving in with your girlfriend and many people have congratulated you.
You've asked me to do the same but that is something I can't and won't do.
I won't congratulate you because you and your girlfriend will be living in sin.
I won't condone premarital sex, don't ask for my congratulations ever again.
Yes I have old fashioned morals that you consider to be out of date.
I won't congratulate you because you're doing something that God hates.
Before the "I do" she must choose
A man that does well in dance shoes
His psyche gives a clue
When employing step two
Ply him to the limit with booze
You are saving it for marriage because premarital sex is a sin.
But some people are making fun of you because you're a virgin.
I think what you're doing is very great indeed.
It's refreshing to see someone wait until they're married.
But those people keep making fun of you and they won't give you a break.
What they're doing is wrong, tell them to go jump in the lake.
It is tragic of my generation
to see the riches instead of Life's simple purity
in the bosom that is within
To feel the caress in play that is quite the opposite of sin
Money does not appeal to my appetite
The wallet that is mine will collect not a $100 bill
but the essence that surrounds our outside
The breath of the air
Warmth of the fall sun
Sounds that the flock of animals make
Feathers from the eagles and her younglings
Done with the folly of premarital relations
Ignoring the hospitality of a simple peasant from the street
I need to go beyond the world
face the penance
accept
now
