Blended spices mixed and
      boiled with chicken and rice,
Best with mutton or prawns,
      but tastes good even with
basic fresh vegetables!
      Blast of flavoured richness!
Bewitching special treat!

CNY 2nd day

2025.1.30
CNY 2nd day.
Today, the celebration continues.
People visit their distance relatives,
Their grand parents, aunties, uncles and cousins,
The CNY visiting's routine become formal and practical,
The meals is also less glamorous
There will be lobster, oysters and prawns.
The rotating hexagon box,
Full of sweets and candies are still on.
Chinese people believe,
What happens in the first three days in CNY,
Will repeat throughout the year.
I believe that is purely superstitious.
However I have already experienced two strange incidences.
I wish it will never happen again.
One was, I received no phone calls nor replies to my messages
Which I was asked to do someone favors.
The other related to "My music adventure"
Goodbye 2nd day of CNY.

Taste Buds

My taste buds can't seem to shake
Off the sweet tastes of the towns food
It takes me back to the holy month of Ramadhan
When they'll be various vendors selling food

I loved how people would buy together
Everyone buying and piling it in one sinia
And they'd all eat as one
Even the one who doesn't have gets to enjoy

Cause food has a way of bringing together people

To start off a day after fasting, one takes dates
Accompanied with sweet strong coffee
And something savoury that doesn't overpower the tongue
Cause all this mix of fun goes on one palate

My taste buds still recall how they were lively
Awakened in the shores of Mombasa
When I ate prawns and una
It's like I've missed out on all this my whole life

It's no surprise why I'd want to marry from coast
Cause I'm charmed by the great foods they have to offer
And a great home starts off with great food
So that guests keep coming wanting more

Old and New 4 : Continue To Sing

OLD AND NEW 4 : CONTINUE TO SING

Sipping cold champagne in silver
cuff links at Thai restaurants
eating red curried prawns
while workers gape at
former leaders sold

Forlorn women starve
in naked hospital corridors
rulers drool in blue pools
with pink jewelled lovers

Rushing from airport to airport
bargaining for who knows
On plains of poverty children
whimper bony arms in
tattered sad sleeves

Slick smiles in linen jackets
mansions highly securitied
Ideals trickling through loamy soil
deep it will surely root anew

Waves upon waves descend
embracing hills with a roar
and throaty directions
to stop senseless hacking
Life rebirths from an unknown hole

Continue to softly sing simple
songs of freedom
exhale from a glittering axis
knowing sacred geometry

Premium MemberA Random Thought

A random thought, strange lines are drawn
Starbursts exploding in the brain
Parallel pathways amp the gain
From small to shrimp, from shrimp to prawns
Tangentially, another dawns
Möbius-like, it loops again,
    a random thought.

Eternal Now, it is explained,
sees ere I was till long past gone.
Now that’s a thought to linger on…
So did I now just entertain
    a random thought?

Table Number Four

Tonight's our night
We've been waiting weeks
Our favourite Bistro
For Potato soup with leeks

They gave us 'our' table
The one by the door
Where we first sat
Table number 4

I remember what you ate
Thai Curry with Fish
I had the Gnocci
Oh what a dish

It'll always be our table
Near the dance floor
Where we first fell in love
Table number 4

Tonight as we danced
I loved all our chatter
A short walk to our table
To enjoy Tempura Prawns batter

Where was your starter?
And why was there Greek salad?
It's all going wrong
It's the little things that matter

I called over to the owner
The big bearded one
I was gonna let him know
He had spoiled all our fun

With a furious glance
I looked at the wine
And quickly realised
We were at table number 9

Vintage Cheese

My eyes scan over the table.
My taste buds begin to perspire.
There’s so much food here on offer,
so I wonder what I’ll desire.

There are some beautiful salads.
There’s carrot, corn and green peas,
bar-be-cue meat to perfection,
and a platter of selected cheese.

There are prawns cooked in their shell,
paté, salami, olives and chips.
There’s my favourite dried tomatoes;
dry biscuits and all kinds of dips.

I’m ready to make a selection.
My craving helps me with ease.
I bi-pass the foods of sensation,
for an entrée of Vintage Cheese.

I could have tried Camembert first,
but its flavour just never agrees,
and why would I ever want Blue Vein,
when the platter holds Vintage Cheese.

Swiss has a nice nutty flavor;
cheddar’s soft with flavour so light.
Pecorino, Romano, are for cooking,
but Vintage is cheese with a bite.

It must be made out of whole milk,
and it has to be seven years old.
There must be mould on the cheesecloth,
and it must be the colour of gold.

One chop; two prawns and tomato,
lettuce, onion, beetroot will create,
a very bland meal, at a bar-be-cue,
without Vintage Cheese on my plate.

Toilet Rush

Prawn cocktails I really do like to scoff,
but with this one, I’m not game to cough,
for it sent me reeling;
I’ve got a gut feeling,
that the prawns in this cocktail are off.

Premium MemberMy Blue Cheese Is - King Prawns

When I see a king prawn in its shell
Some vomit I want to expel
This fish food I despise
With ten legs and two eyes
It’s really my idea of food hell!
I baulk when a king prawn is peeled
and that witchetty grub is revealed
It makes me feel sick
I look away quick
My disgust just cannot be concealed!

Oh Reaching a Net Then

A bluebell hole is often representational of a pistol glove. Pistol gloves are often pointing out towards petals bit metallic oysters can spin rapidly out of a firing chamber and firing chambers are neither chatty canopies nor copied cactus chants. Chanting cacti cacti cacti can cause chaos but chapters of chaotic cow clips are the flipside occurrence of an occurred octagonal oversized otter. Otters trot at very high speeds so one could make a train then hoop over the hopscotch patterns of desert landscape like a roller skating party of giant antelopes. Wow. Reach no risk and risk no right run. Ring then. Go on ring. Tales more than a tubular turtle to fit the key in a net. Ha the bell is chiming faster now than the clock tower. Ha the Belgian bun is playing croquet today. *** fictional frog jumping. Xxxx solarisations z z z z z z at forty three bites past sixteen cute passing prawns with pointy ears. Dangly earrings. Inside the Shops and Around the Town

A rich rusty old screw on an escalator in a shopping centre can never really be as exact as a tidal wave forming with over fifty prawns playing in an elevator. For elevators are really lifts and lifts are only ever given to tiny turtles with placards standing on a roadside facing west. It is not a given right to stand on a roadside turning for the five hundred million and fifty one thousand four hundred and eighty-three yellow bugs would rise, jump and push out of the way anyone who dares to interrupt a sleeping stretch of pavement. But pavements are pathways and pathways can play pianoforte on about the times it takes to travel down and up and through the fields. Tinkle tinkle then. Said the passing tribe of wheels. We are wheels and we spin. Look. Look how interesting we are to watch. Inside inner informational interference ignites interesting ideas. And a free house is a gift for a one-off party of piccolos in long silky kimonos. Laughing. Haha the hammer is giggling at the drill given by the spanners. Hahaha leaping over the cooker and barbecues. Xxxxx stalagmites Z Z Z Z ample apples amongst apes ate appropriate aromatic atoms.

Waking Weekend Up

A fortress on a vortex is a myriad of milestones on a moon. But moons are not mules and mules are not to be entrusted with the delicate art of spooning dew into bowls measuring six metres. So all hail. All rise. Which goldfish ate pie rations today? Today is not a toddler nor a taming temperate temperature. And a mist in view is not a monstrous monkey bellowing in a display cabinet. Hahaha the internal sail salad dance hahahaha number of prancing prawns playing games and eating curried chocolate xxxx convoluted z
