Ask yourself this everyday.
Why in the world do I think this way?
I think such awful things about me.
And think highly of everyone else I see.
But now let's turn it around to you.
And recognize what you do.
I should be my own favorite best friend.
Today is the day that I shall begin.
To myself today I just want to say.
I'm praying that you'll have an excellent day!
May God help you to always smile.
Because to me, you are worthwhile!
If someone today is mean to you.
Just know that I love the things you do.
Thank you so much for always being there.
I find comfort in knowing at least someone cares.
When I am sick, I can count on you.
To be there with me until I pull through.
You are my guest during every meal.
Sharing thoughts with me of how I feel.
You never once say "You're boring me!"
You are what I think a true friend should be!
Just know you are my greatest friend.
The one to be there until my life ends.
Today, I'll smile, but others won't have a clue.
I know I am loved and I want to thank you!!!

“The moon’s vision of humanity
Was something that it once desired
Tinkle, swoouf, it pondered
As it’s luminescence gazed at its prodigious oceans
The defunct dissection of the body fell into silence as it glanced back
Clish, clash, it wavered
It’s fluorescence gestured odiously
Enraging it’s radiance with envy
Woosh, clasps, oceans grew in his incensed intention
It never had a society that walked on its ground
A place, that humans recall home
stomp, clasp, It thought
Oceans trickled with peril as the moon grew its waves
Slash, sloosh, the clutter that pollutes the water clustered against its weight
The moon then rebounded; remarking the objects
Sling slang, swoosh, oceans sang it's mercy
It’s reminiscence then discerned the cunning truth
“The grass always seems greener on the other side”

As I lie here often I wonder wander
Often in my sleep I toss and tumble wandering
I pondered the direction of my life
I turn away for hurt harms and strife
Repenting of my sins
Throwing them deep within the ocean
And now I Rise
Covered in Grace so forgiving
And now inside my heart's beating
Now I'm truly, truly living
In earnest plea
My God my Savior has forgiven me
All my sins I have been relieved
I pondered my direction of my life
And I turned and followed your ways
Today
Heavenly Father I pondered my life
My direction and I turn from my evil ways
And now today
I come to you this way
Turn myself around
Now I'm having
All of this because I wondered wandered
I pondered
Those the direction of my life and I
Turned to follow your laws
My Lord, my God thank you Father from above Hallelujah

Lord, as we display heartfelt, honest appreciation
on this day, we honor You - the Spokesman of all creation.

Your Love is our blessed Hope, You reign.
Endeavoring pain, we grasp well-being.
We know real Liberty, Your Spirit’s freeing
expressing our faith in Your firm overseeing.

Under the Iroko tree I sat and pondered
As riotous thoughts held me hostage
Making the thinkable and unthinkable
Engage in brainstorming scuffle
Under the Iroko tree as I sat and pondered
The gentle breeze caressed my tired skin
Wrestling my heavy eyelids into a deep sleep
And face to face I came with the Creator of the universe
"How are you my son? He inquired
"I am fine sir" I murmured
"I am sending you to the lost sheep of Nigeria"
" Tell them they have disappointed me"
" How is that sir? I ventured
" I endowed them with unimaginable wealth"
" Of course Nigeria is the giant of Africa Sir"
" Giant of Africa with the brain of a lilliputian"
" Lord I do not understand that part"
" I gave them unprecedented Commonwealth for all Nigerians"
"Thank you lord for your generosity"
" But it ended in the pockets of a few while the deprived bother me with prayers"
" I gave them unity in diversity"
"Lord we are eternally grateful for that"
" But it has become a source of weakness as they do not value its strength"
" what message do I take to Nigerians?
" Tell their leaders that the beauty of life depends on how happy their citizens are because of them"

deep the void, he uttered
words thus rarely muttered
not once erred or stuttered
Schleicher's fable ...
hence, his master's horses
saw their lesser courses
yet, with god-like forces
turned the table ...
sheepish, though, one stated
how its schemes were fated
bound through man and hated
that bleak label ...
now, these ages followed
found the phrases hollowed
morsels dreamed and swallowed
barely able ...
riddles, meant for others
would so end in smothers
if he'd delved his druthers
from minds, stable ...
still here, from worlds away
with heavens thus arrayed
as Schleicher's myth decayed
cosmos' ... cable.

Were flushed from the mind,
Cherished times pooled
Beneath observable wants
Leaving the pacifier of friendship
Resting between the lips of our souls.

thoughts of you dance in my mind
like wind through trees
tossed upward in a breeze
these fragmented memories twirl around
pulled forth from where they once rested
when i tucked them away
so long ago...
a storm as it passes
mingles warm with cold
excitement with fury
fear with anxiety
dark with light
...and then
through all this rain
i can taste the pain
as my emotions bend
like little branches
ready to snap
the what ifs
what could have beens
echo in my mind
...and then
in a flash
they are gone!

with the school doors locked, stead fast and
bolted.
the teachers all drunk and the pupils insulted
the guilty chased down beaten and berated
this is the society for which i've waited
the street dealers dealt with the street way
the car jackers jacked up and slayed
the right on moved right over a cliff
you have to be ruthless with the ignorant of bliss.
with the cop lights flashin in the cafe car park
it's up to the vigilantes to keep watch through dark
dont burn your bra's, go burn your madmen
entombe them in concrete and let the seas have them
clean up the streets with the dirt on your mind
break down the walls and let in some light
hallowed be revenge
burn your foe and not your freind
the sky's outside will one day end
and ask you what you've done.
shallow be the trend
to not sacrafice for other men
a little bit of time to spend
being forcefull like the wind
time was once on each mans side
a confidont in which to confide
the secrets that burn out your eyes
but now it only passes bye.
shallow be these man made skys
that let the sun come down and fry
children were they're born and lie
as soon as shed there tears dry .
