A Pondered Moment

thoughts of you dance in my mind like wind through trees tossed upward in a breeze these fragmented memories twirl around pulled forth from where they once rested when i tucked them away so long ago... a storm as it passes mingles warm with cold excitement with fury fear with anxiety dark with light ...and then through all this rain i can taste the pain as my emotions bend like little branches ready to snap the what ifs what could have beens echo in my mind ...and then in a flash they are gone!
