A tiny Egyptian is slowly destroying
the tombs of the great pyramids.
It excavates and delves
and we know not why?
Some blame the Scarab beetle
but ii, as we all know,
just roles mucky balls around
no,
this beetle is smaller
smaller than a polyhedron pimple.
The insect worms through
hieroglyphics with such focused determination
that it can translate the symbols into
prefect english;
'perfect English' being now considered
to be a long dead language,
we may have to decode and clarify
what otherwise would be
just the usual Egyptian crap.

The cool breeze of the holidays
turns into a nightmare of mirrors:
I am inside a polyhedron of mirrors.
They are all around,
and I am all they see.
They surround me –
I am all I see.
And I realize I am alone.
The cool breeze of the holidays
turns into a nightmare of prisms:
I see myself break up into me.
I break up,
then break up into me.
I go on, but it’s the same.
I realize I am alone;
I realize I am lonely.

living counter-clockwise
with a facade like an empty canvas
the one that’s always been suspected
man-made and dubious
twisting in his spiral patterns
incisive and irrational
radial in his stratagem clarity
the godfather of all perennial spheres
he’s no charity rectangle
there’s no one who could face him –
– architects of coincidence nor mystics of sectio divina
he simply wants to conquer the Earth
by bisecting our wide-screen visions
devouring the nautilus symmetry
unleashing the atomic climax
fraction by fraction
and our chances slowly
decrease
