Poetic Diction

None is silent
Even the silence is not silent
But silence is the great life of the universe

Language is indebted to the silence
Sound is the driver of the language
Alphabet is the driver of the sound
Word is the driver of the alphabet
Sentence is the driver of the word

Silence has meaningful everything
As well as the poetic diction

Fire of word burns the inside of poetic insight
Word has everything and the poet is the main discoverer of that

Moods

It looks funny
To so many
That, verbs have moods
And attitudes!

On their way out
Some stare wide pout,
Going, not gone,
They linger on.

Obsolescent
As if on Lent,
Not obsolete,
Down in a pit!

In a death bed,
But not yet dead!

Poet’s Note: A poet is generally confronted with Muses, very rarely with moods of his poetic diction. This one is a tangential take off from moods of a verb: Indicative, Imperative, and Subjunctive. The third one is now largely obsolescent, if not already obsolete, on its way out, if not gone, in a death bed, if not duly dead.

Premium Member Cherishing Chances

I cherish my dear family
And so, I hold them close to me

I cherish all my loving friends
Relationship that never ends

I cherish time spent with my pets
They are part of my life's assets

I cherish watching the flowers
Showcase their multihued powers

I cherish the sun and the rain
Reminders of God's awesome reign

I cherish the song of the birds
They help me pen delightful words

I cherish reading good fiction
And simple poetic diction

I cherish melodic music
According to my mood's sweet pick

Yes, I cherish these little things
Which has helped me try out my wings

Trauma Bleeds Through My Pen

Shall I allow my heart to break its fences
and profusely bare its senses
as my mind feels no fighting chances
the soul divulges the pain’s incenses
trauma bleeds through my pen with no pretences.
*****
Shall I allow my heart to shed its shield
and had its very pulses peeled
with a mind of no power to wield
so majestic the soul to blows yield
trauma bleeds through my pen unable to be sealed.
*****
Shall I allow my words to portray a huge affliction
and conceal each ache with no slight friction
as my pen takes great care with poetic diction
to produce an artistic painting of wonderful depiction
trauma bleeds through my pen in fact and fiction.

Haidee Majola

She is nurse
Yes, She is the polished nurse of poetic diction
She is fashion designer
Yes, She is crystalline splendid fashion designer of poetic panorama

Her world glorified her
as registered worker
in her daily activities
on colorful petals of Eden Garden

This is she, the beautiful azure-blue of poetic planet
No plaintiff she is,
No disputatious she is,
The simple goddess to take care of insight of poetic words

Love Is a Fragile Thing - For Jan Allison

A response written after reading
 "You've changed my life completely"
  by Jadazzle United
   For Jan and Darren
            (Soulmates sint rara et mirabile)

Love is such a fragile thing,
Softer than a butterflies wing.
The gentle entwining of mind and soul,
A linking of passions that makes one whole.
It can rise and fall just as the tide,
And link two people across oceans wide
It brings forth such joy and pure delight
Creates a bond that holds them tight

Love is such a fragile thing,
As beautiful as Angels sing.
It will lift you so high above the earth,
And give your heart a soothing berth.
It fills your senses your thoughts as well,
Your entire being resonates like a bell.
Promises exchanged sweet words spoken,
To last an eternity and never be broken.

Love is such a fragile thing,
Passion it enflames desire it does bring.
Lost to the world in ardour and delight,
All else fades from the lovers sight.
Ensconced in a world of poetic diction,
Wrapped up in each other as if in a fiction.
Still even love sometimes can go awry,
But in the end true love can never die.
