I can write a book
With just pictures of a journey I took .
My life for all to see
Photos of my own memories for me
When im old and gray
With nothing left I need I say
On such a beautiful day
Memories I have in front of me
Right there for me to see
Then I know, memories will never fade away
Be there for me everyday
My own picture book
Of this life journey I took

Their faces round, cheeks rosy red
They laugh and sing, spectacular curls on head
I turn the page and see a tiger roar.
He is cute and fancy, I do adore.

My mother flips the page back now
The smile she give me is a wow.
I am warm upon her gentle loving lap.
I curl up eagerly, ready to take my nap

But wait! My sister says so stern.
That’s not what it says, for we both have learned
That mother sometimes tries to flip the page
Without explaining, due to our age

We both fight over the pages now
With roses and stars, and a fancy cow
There are fields and farms and lakes and stream.
Now ready to ooze into slumber land and have our dream.

I Despised Any Picture Book

I despised any picture book.
But, once, I opened Kama sutra,
And realized- that this is suits me.
So, since, I was caught to the hook.

Poise in fine pose can hurl new thrills,
Instinct shapes norm in actual trace;
Come seize the dose of ample fill,
Touch lifts sure form in profound face;
Urge then pure voice to conquer fear,
Reach inner truth where colours spring;
Etch in swift choice the path of cheer.
Be your own proof of poise that flings,
Observe your heart as soul primes psalm;
Obey the hint in gut feel nudge,
Keep happy art in healing calm.
Opt to sculpt tints with pleasant touch,
Decide to ask what colours boost,
Enjoy grand tasks in myriad ooze.

Ideas speak out
As pictures shout

Bold bright colours
Hints of flavours

Tale in a tale
Insight unveils

Joy and sorrow
Jest with hollow

Shades and tint merge
Thought and feel surge

Here and there see
Waves of beauty

Strokes and lines dash
In vivid clash

Touch of fancy
Stream thoughts happy

All in sure time
Time signs sure chimes

Clear and simply
Warmth felt so free

Picture book tells
A cast of spells

Here I sit
a little lonely picture book
waiting for you to fill my pages
so everyone may take a look

Fill me with good times & bad
happy times & sad
dreams & memories
friends & family history

Treasure me forever
for I only hold the past
hand me down to the next generation
so my memories will last
