The Spirit of Truth deeply hurts and wounds a sinner exposed
universal facts none of us are perfect to be honest
the union between man and woman
strictly this is the only marriage God has ordained
Those of you that support anything other
stand against Christianity and the Cross
the plank in your eyes splinters with arrogance
Abortionists kill the innocent seed of creation
murderers of life cry victim
claiming to care about equality and loving an individual's right to choose
In the face of horror their soul's are deluded
this pick and mix culture has turned against the commandments
those of our Almighty Father
Everything about them promotes hate and division
every heart has value when it supports Jesus's words
Love one another as I have Loved you
Deceivers always show little mercy playing tricks
when it comes to hate attacking the Bible
then again so many lukewarm Christian's are on a fast track to hell
they do not know their Faith blindly heading towards the fire
The Word of God is Supreme Authority and Divine Justice
He takes no prisoners or pleasure in condemning on Judgement day
Come fly with me in sweetshop dreams
throw caution’s doubt into the wind
laugh your face to pleasured lines
come board my plain and simple need..
oh let our bodies shed their gloom
see there.. before us distant laid
a flushed horizon’s fading glow
a green garbed castle in the sky..
all puckered you with mannish frown..
and doubts a’plenty in your mind
let rich selection fill your wings
come pick and mix all freedom find
sweet doubting heart. Come take your fill
a silk wrapped love here merry brings..
No liqu’rice threads or nougat feel
but more, a rich confectioned place
brim-full with honeyed almond strands ..
dark chocolate dipped ripe raspberries
hand held upon your sweetheart’s tongue,
a soaring flight of fancy brought
swirled an' twirled with sherbet fizz
to soon electrify a place, where is
a melting pot, rich roistering
awaiting weight of other’s sin..
so thus the weekend starts its test
with chocolatiers’s amazing craft
admired is he by others skilled
who knows full well he sells the best..
Pick & Mix
Oh Frank. W. Woolworths what have you done,
You have taken away all of the fun.
Buying the traditional Pick & Mix,
Was a yearly ritual like the turkey and stuffing mix,
Trying to cram as many as you could
Into the large cardboard tub.
Trying to be canny
and fill every nook and cranny,
Toffees, chocs, jellies, dolly mixtures, shrimps & white mice,
They all tasted really nice.
It only cost £2 99 for the lot
It was up to you how many you got,
Now it is to be no more
Having asked at several of your stores.
Gone now is the tub you could fill with as many as you like.
It’s A bag and weigh & pay, and on your bike.
