Premium MemberPent In A Penthouse

He tried
but for him
speech did not
come easily,

the parrot had a stutter

starting with a sputter --

tripped over

every third word

sounding quite absurd

the clipped-wing bird;

his flight, as well,
a jump and a fell --
a monumental flop,

every spring
followed by a plop...

and Boots, the penthouse cat
a bit of a louse
absent a mouse
terrorizes Carrot~ the penthouse
parrot --

poor

Premium MemberTryst or trust often its bust

Take the plunge..As I have before, try your friends..
Just to be sure.' Give them truth..Support' some trust
Then wait and see.' Expecting no love, or hate..that fire.'
For it might flare? Their will exposed, in steeped despair?
Who knows the spirit of humans? Deep to core? but one.!
The Great I Am, within deep seas we can't escape him
He's

Premium MemberMake It Rain

Blinding silver streak
Explodes
Rocks crash
Roof rattles
Cracked sky
Spills fury
Pent up rage
Inflicted
Doors
Windows
Blown open
Wild wind
Laces through
Snuggled up
Tight and warm
Bear hugging
Howling storm
Wrestling
Chest crushing
Rib crunching
Dominion
Pinned down
Struggling beneath
Seeking for some
Lasting release
I won't let this
Tempest leave
Make it rain
Forty days
And forty nights
Yet
Somehow
Some way
I fall in
Dream
It slinks away
And all I
Wake up to
Is this
Fresh morning
Kiss

Pent up, jumbled up,
Hung up, so mixed up,
When will I be able to show up?

When will all things be
At last looking up for me?
When will I for once be free?

From St. Patrick's pent horses to out horse

She rode St. Patrick's day wild horses
Through leprechauns and lucky Joe's of course
She rode her horses well
Every horse loved her swell
In came a pony changing the concourse

Pent Up Anger

The howling wind interrupted my dreams,
Some time in the early morn.
It was a dark and moonless night,
With a long time left till dawn.
The roof it shook, the windows too,
The doors it seemed did breathe,
As Mother Nature's pent up force,
once more was loosed the leash.
I lay awake listening, in fear, and fascination,
That such destructive forces can

Pent Sills

These graphite singularities
contain universes
unconceived,
awaiting
the Big Bang
of inspiration, but
narrative particles
escape like
Hawking radiation --
gravity’s diminution
evaporatively slow,
nearly virtual,
and random.

Zigzag Hearts and Pent-Up Dreams

Zigzag Hearts and Pent-up Dreams

No matter how perfect everything seemed
I guess we had our faults
Sitting here, I'm almost crying
And I can't seem to stop.
You made everything seem so right
     So perfectly fixing mistakes
Nothing felt wrong, it was all correct
