Payee Poems | Examples

Bank of Glory

One day the SON
Came to the Father's bank
Found the sacrificial altar
And His heart...sank

To secure inheritance
He had to become the WAY
The banker determines the costs
The payee has no say

...only to lay...submitted

While the children ran wild
The SON paid the price
Laying down ownership
To buy every device

...of fear

Humanity gave up connection
For fear of rejection
Gave up divine election
For the choice of selection
Gave up perfection
For the chance of infection

...stinkin' thinkin'

............took it all

Today, this very day
The KING OF GLORY
Has been crowned SON
The price, fully paid
To lay LOVE over
All the works humanity has done

May we lay with the SON
All our desires and care
For the LOVE moments
He has offered to share

...with His inheritance

Pretend you are Janis Joplin. OK, Janis, hear yourself singing to the tune of Mercedes Benz as sung by you, Janis.

Gigantic Gifts

Oh cash, won’t you give me large, financial gifts?
Others all spend plenty, I need huge green lifts.
Punched clocks during work life, just earned me short-shrift,
So cash, won’t you give me large, financial gifts?

Oh cash, won’t you make me your direct payee?
Surely some millions have been endorsed straight to me.
I wait for my treasure with no apology,
So oh cash, won’t you make me your direct payee?

Oh cash, won’t you buy me each desire I dream?
I’m running on cents, cash, please send a thick ream.
Show that you hear me by backing this scheme,
Oh cash, won’t you buy me each desire I dream?

All Who Want Cash!
Oh cash, won’t you give us large, financial gifts?
Others all spend plenty, we need huge green lifts.
Punched clocks during work life, just earned us short-shrift,
So cash, won’t you give us large, financial gifts?

Song Done!
