Pathologies Poems | Examples

Premium MemberHere and There

We are here
and sometimes there
for each other.
How else could we support
this glad global network
of becoming?

Health is here
when abundant life is not over there,
just past some eastern sunrise horizon,
while I sulk and stain my past
missed opportunities
stalking toward, and balking against,
our appalling future
dodging unnecessary climate pathologies,
paranoid and dogmatic ethologies,
faithless loser psychologies,
frantic lose/lose unsurvival ecologies,
upside down logicalities,
out-chucked enculturing mythologies
settling for Left-Yang either/or toleration management
when we are designed for both/and
natural spiritualities.

We are rightmind here
and sometimes left disembodied rememory there
for each suffering other.

How else could we win/win support
this glad local/global health network
of being/becoming inter-relationships?

As any economist,
or even a half-conscious politician,
or patient parent knows,
We have two types of deficits;
investments and divestments.

Let's call them NegativEnergy One
and NegativEnergy Two,
or, for short,
just ThingOne
sometimes portends darker ThingTwo.

We may choose a short-term deficit budget
to invest in growing a long-term PositivEnergy surplus,
or interdependent profit.

Or we may choose to contribute to a longterm
toxically overdrawn
eternally divesting waste stream,
like burning currency for fuel
or flushing coins down the toilet
or peeing and pooping where we could have eaten
or taken a warm bubbly bath.

ThingOne
can ZeroSum Win-Lose balance,
Or degenerate into
not even ZeroSum Lose-Lose
ThingTwo
predicting further devastated landscapes
and climate pathologies.

Or NegativEnergy One withdrawals
could resiliently resonate
co-arising PositivEnergy co-investments

Not not ZeroSum
Win-Win
for restoring nutritional
nurturing
multigenerationally cooperative Justice,
Peace,
notnot Trust
with YesYes resonant symmetry.

Symmetry
like synergy
It has an uncertain
yet resonant ring to it.

Premium MemberWhat Assault Rifles Teach

Arming teachers
to prevent assault rifle tragedies
in schools
Is like arming preachers
to prevent epic sins and unorthodox errors
in church.

Are we teaching peace
and restorative justice
or war-mongering
and retributive injustice?

More hate
and fear
and anger?
Or a touch of love
and kindness
and cooperative consciousness,
mindfulness?

More climate pathologies
or finally some climates
of multiculturing health?

How to evaporate promising youth
or how to facilitate resonant resilience
of youth through WiseElders
mentoring GoldenRules?

Just because Trump
does not believe in No Gun Zones
does not discourage me
from continuing to believe
that Earth did rather well as a No Gun Zone
for several tens of thousands of years
before we came along,
adding desecrating gunpowders
and militarized self-righteous assaults
with deadly automated weapons
to Her sacred mix.

We used to publicly invest in WinWin diplomacy.

Then we got distracted
playing
Button,
Button,
Who's Got The Button?

Now,
quite suddenly,
we've reversed directions
back toward
My Button Is Bigger and Badder Than Yours!!!!

I realize
some of this is because
We The People
grow tired of WinLose AmericaFirst
lack of EarthCentered diplomatic
love,
faith,
or even fading hopes for more cooperation
and less egocentric
anthrocentric
competitions,
but,
really?
Change in the
more horrible Competing Business As Usual
lack of co-arising ********?

Really!!!!!

There's only so much LoseLose ecopolitics
that one fairly small
living
natural-spiritual EarthSoul can tolerate.

We don't need ambivalent Colonizing Climate Change rhetoric,
shouting Our Sky Is Failing
against and without each creolizing other.

We desperately need Climate Health of WinWin intention,
to reverse alarming Climate Pathologies
of RightWing LoseLose anti-sacred deep
holonic
cooperatively co-arising
ecologicalism,
healthywealth,
more perfect Unity and public Welfare
for all democratizing
mutually-trusting
species,
rather than PushButton
PullTrigger GeoPolitics.

Premium MemberMarching Against Military Nonsolutions

Militarism,
and its xenophobic Nationalism brother,
are among a polarized USA's most basic political habits
and economically competitive behaviors.

Violence with and against others
is among the most difficult and sensitive climate pathologies to deal with,
and yet at the heart,
in the heart,
of ecologically polypathic mindbodies,
nondually co-arising
climates of ego- and eco-therapeutic hope
for less violence
and more contentment,
within as without.

Premium MemberTrees of Our Forest

Trees in a mindbody forest
work together in hidden ways
and through this cooperation
increase their shared resistance to disease,
mutually held immunities from shared pathologies.

In this way,
densely muticultural forest systems
with mature cooperative resistance
co-evolve even more robust
and mutually creolizing resonant;
not exactly might makes right
but more like right relationships emerge eco-flowing might.

This fertile resonance
is a cooperative face
of mutually competing resistance,
and vice versa.

A glass half empty of mistrust
also half full of trusting climates
and landscapes of emerging proactive health.

We used to have a bicameral legislature
that worked together in hidden and public sector ways
but now has voted more for less through competition
thereby Either/Or reducing our shared WinWin resistance
to mutually terrorizing pathologies,
and avoiding any taint
of mutually creolizing informed and fertile resonance.

We have all heard of
and feared becoming
dumb as a post,
but our larger ecopolitical forest
appears to behave less co-intelligently than a tree.

Premium MemberOptimizing Flowpower

Cooperative economic and political flow,
common to all regenerative ecosystems,
is largely non-historic Business As HealthyUsual,
while news-worthy events too often reincarnate
competing images of overpowering violent capitalism,
raised up through militarism and racism and sexism,
climate pathologies of run-away ego-centrism,
degenerating further paranoid entropic trends
of closed off claustrophobic climates,
deteriorating landscapes,
bioregions,
choking identities,
rabid organisms,
devoid of sufficient soul,
chi,
heart,
love,
grace,
karma,
synergy,
integrity,
incarnation,
life...

Cooperative ecopolitical organic flow networks,
self-regenerating systems,
are largely DNA/RNA encrypted
Business as Miraculously Usual.

Premium MemberPolitical Octane

Economies are positive when consuming and producing balanced nutrition,
and are depressed when consuming and producing too much
by way of dissonant toxic loss and suffering,
un-ecological hubris,
climate pathologies suboptimizing WinWin potentialities
for multiculturally healthy outcomes.

Economic nutritional abundance
sometimes labeled as wealth,
is an artifact,
neither exclusive, much less supremely, significant
in and of its own dance,
within politically empowering multicultural health,
internal polypathic cooperative EgoLeft/EcoRight solidarity
externalizing Earth's tribally landscaped
nutritional extended family enculturation wealth.

Wealthy cooperative economies
consume polypathic ecological health
to politically produce Earth-trusting nutrition,
deep learning landscapes
regenerating co-empathic climates
of bicameral DNA/RNA dialects
reweaving syncretic TaoTime balance.

Vampirical Support Group

partial regression of the thin vertabrae,
slumping in a vampire support group.

 cheap folding chairs reapolstered
 in victorian velvet.

styrofoam cups held in a languid grasp
stained with revlon crimson lip gloss.

    morbid pathologies in the carpet.

    i taste the ugly pattern..
 blue hexagons with gray squares.

im tired of returning to this place staring at the
carpet and drinking folders dry roast coffee.

  turn the events .. strange..

sick again of the avenue that brought me here..

floor-light-escent-bulbs.. in the hallway bleed pale arteries.

Premium MemberWhen Doubt and Existential Angst Meet Faith

"Why must we suffer hardships and disease?"
we ask. Pain? Hunger? War? Adversity?
     Death? Misery!?...Our best philosophy
cannot put these concerns to rest or ease.

Dysphoria, psychosis, pathologies
     of the mind—subjects of psychology
that are all causes of man's malady:
the tragic end of these infirmities

is suicide! But we're not without hope
or God's compassion, as today we go
on, heal, survive, live, and thrive as we cope;
it's easy to lose hope when we are low
and in despair; but we are in God's scope,
too: this put your faith and trust in, and know.

Dichotomy

I could not tell the two of you apart.
even when i tried to squint you just
 grew narrower

and these words are slender stalks in a field
seamless yet sperate, unrhyming yet punctuated.

i remember sitting in the kitchen with poor
 posture misspelling the word absence.

you collected a few of the absract moments
to form are binary convoluted past personages.

who spoke in the third person and misdiagnosed
the moments before leaving only shades of
gray pathologies for us to follow.

niether light nor dark.

i tried to gather a little from the two of you
to trace an opinioned outline of you on
some paper, but the opinions fell down.

so i used instead a magnet off of your refrigerator.

you said something like..... what are you doing
 or i think im thirsty.

a half empty half full glass sits on the
 counter across the room.

Windblows

Turning over and over through the
Hours, my friend. My
Eyes see yours and I know you’re here.

When you say “will you still come to see me when
I’m alone and
Not how you remember me?”
Do I know you enough to know?

But, see…
Like when the trees bend,
Or when the rain falls…

What am I
Saying?

True love waits? What the
Hell is that? I was beginning to think the only thing I’d
Roll
Over for would be for a good Cheetos bag.
Upon that occasion, I’d be sure to look
Good for the cashier at the local store.
Hallelujah!

True love waits? What the
Hell is that? I don’t know
Everything, but I know something.

Trees bend.
Rain falls.
Everything dies,
Everyone dies,
Sooner or later.

And the only way out
Now is to
Die before something else can kill you.

Stop
Telling me about something
Other than me. My concerns. My
Pathologies. And for God’s sake
Stop saying “true love waits!”

Don’t you have somewhere
Else to be? No?
Are you lonely? Ah, I see.
Damn you. Leave me be.

Sooner or later, all
Things die. But…
I’ve got to admit you’ve taught me something. I
Learned that all things somewhere, someday also
Live.
