chili event at thedepot

ship’s chief is a head chef. - I was that day
I made my Dragon’s Breath chili with less heat
Some folks found the heat mild;some ed -ok
I put out extra heat as s a treat

I made my Dragon’s Breath chili with less heat
The chili had veggies, meat sauce and beans
I put out extra heat as s a treat
Everything was going well so it seems

The chili had veggies, meat sauce and beans
And Cumin and salt and pepper too
Everything was going well so it seems
And cooked for a half hour through and through

And Cumin and salt and pepper too
Some folks found the heat mild;some ed ok
And cooked for a half hour through and through
A ship’s chief is a head chef. - I was that day

Premium MemberTea-Drenched Flowers

Citrus petals got stuck in the core of a page.
Paper cuts and stains in amber and green.
Creamy pearls oozing from ripped skin rage.
Fine dew drips from pecks have been seen.

Paper cuts and stains in amber and green.
Within a kaleidoscope of the seething song.
Fine dew drips from pecks have been seen.
Hibiscus-scented daydreams waft along.

Within a kaleidoscope of the seething song.
The vanilla honey aroma on tea leaves talus.
Hibiscus-scented daydreams drifting along.
A crimson flame whirling in a golden chalice.

The vanilla honey aroma on tea leaves talus.
Sticky food to let you grip the edges of life.
Crimson flame whirling in a golden chalice.
Chamomile tea is minding fairy tale strife.

Sticky food to let you grip the edges of life.
Seeing into the concave mirror of implore.
Chamomile tea is minding fairy tale strife.
Alluring feeling of restless need to explore.

Seeing into the concave mirror of implore.
Creamy pearls oozing from ripped skin rage.
Alluring feeling of restless need to explore.
Citrus petals got stuck in the center of a page.

Premium MemberIn the Yawning

Coffee! Coffee In the Yawning.
Pour straight from the pot.
In the dawning - deep fog of brain.
Lifting of the breakfast cup.

Pour straight from the pot.
Open very wide, the eyes.
Lifting of the breakfast cup
along with a grape jelly donut.

Open very wide, the eyes -
the ebon clearing.
Along with a grape jelly donut,
have a great big gulp.

The ebon clearing
in the dawning - deep fog of brain.
Have a great big gulp.
Coffee! Coffee in the yawning.

Premium MemberThe Seagulls

Squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine,
They are indeed a lovely sight to see.
No ship will sail with that turbulent brine
But the seagulls just glide around the quay.

They are indeed a lovely sight to see.
They plunge into the stormy sea for food
But the seagulls just glide around the quay.
They are a harbinger of weather crude,

They plunge into the stormy sea for food
Spying sardines, they eat or be forlorn,
They are a harbinger of weather crude,
Ominous clouds gather, and me they warn

Spying sardines, they eat or be forlorn,
No ship will sail with that turbulent brine
Ominous clouds gather and me they warn
Squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine

Premium MemberThough Its Crude

Wispy, striated clouds
Across the pale blue sky
Revealed by the sun proud
Who is low now, not high

Across the pale blue sky
A swallow dips and dives
Who is low now, not high
Closer to earth, survives

A swallow dips and dives
Catches those bugs for food
Closer to earth survives
Feeding young, though its crude

With live bugs as young wait
Catches those bugs for food
Young not knowing their fate
Feeding young, though its crude

Catches those bugs for food
Revealed by the sun proud
Feeding young though its crude
Wispy, striated clouds

Premium MemberTasted Her Love

Velvet soft I tasted her love

I tasted her love
 she was velvet
 lavender breath chocolate kiss
 taste of angel food
she was velvet
I licked her essence I embraced her soul
taste of angel food
like manna from Heaven A morsel to behold
I licked her essence I embraced her soul
lavender breath chocolate kiss
like manna from Heaven A morsel to behold
I tasted her love

SMELLY DILEMMA Yet I Sympathize Wit You

I simply sympathize with you
being a hero straight and true
Twist not the spinning tops
Sour aroma burst of fruitless drops
being a hero straight and true
I smell of Angel's food
Sour aroma burst of fruitless drops
Demons eat at my feet as I stand heroically
I smell of Angel's food
Twist not the spinning tops
Demons eat at my feet as I stand heroically
I simply sympathize with you

Alas! I'm just a roly-poly me.
When I was birthed, in dirt they had to dig!
More slender and chik I'd prefer to be.
But here I am - so common, round and big.

When I was birthed, in dirt they had to dig!
Trimmed in French style, I want to be a fry.
But here I am - so common, round and big.
I wish to be flavored and savored. Sigh!

Trimmed in French style, I want to be a fry.
More slender and chik I'd prefer to be.
I wish to be flavored and savored. Sigh!
Alas! I'm just a roly-poly me.

Premium MemberThe Birthday Party

June, the perfect time for a great party.
Sprays of gaudy flowers, lights glowing bright.
Look everywhere the rich food so hearty.
It was John's birthday, we'll stay till twilight.

Sprays of gaudy flowers, lights glowing bright.
Father picked up the boy, began to swing.
It was John's birthday, we'll stay till twilight.
Ma and friends happy and began to sing.

Father picked up the boy, began to swing.
The young boy clapped his hands, felt like a king.
Ma and friends happy and began to sing.
How wonderful it was to enjoy Spring.

The young boy clapped his hands, felt like a king.
Look everywhere the rich food so hearty.
How wonderful it was to enjoy Spring.
June, the perfect time for a great party

Premium MemberIf I Were a Seagull

Were I a seagull, I would glide so fine
with V-shaped wings aflutter in the breeze,
      above the ocean's whitecap-wave design,
along with others, join with calls that please.

With V-shaped wings aflutter in the breeze,
   creating whirling patterns that unfold,
along with others, join with calls that please-
squawks echoing, rebounding, loud and bold.

Creating whirling patterns that unfold,
I'd mesmerize with movements of my wings-
squawks echoing, rebounding loud and bold,
while hunting food amid my gatherings.

I'd mesmerize with movements of my wings
   above the ocean's whitecap-wave design,
while hunting food amid my gatherings.
Were I a seagull, I would glide so fine.

Premium MemberA Season To Remember

Emboldened metal torso dusts her in pink Himalayan flecks
Her mahogany neck persuaded to turn in his grip
Rendering fragrant dark bite from her deep spice chest
The two infused together perfect a harmonious marriage

Her mahogany neck persuaded to turn in his grip
Seasoning lamb's tendered flesh, in a glistening delight
The two infused together perfect a harmonious marriage
Chef, shaker, and grinder bow in sumptuous applause

Seasoning lamb's tendered flesh, in a glistening delight
Refined palate and palisades of sharpened cutlery adorn
Chef, shaker, and grinder bow in sumptuous applause
The curtains drawn, lights hushed in reverie and sighs

Refined palate and palisades of sharpened cutlery adorn
Rendering fragrant dark bite from her deep spice chest
The curtains drawn, lights hushed in reverie and sighs
Emboldened metal torso dusts her in pink Himalayan flecks

Look forward to a brand new life,
It’s said you should not look behind.
The past holds memories of pain and strife
That I have to put out of my mind.

It’s said you should not look behind.
They were days of neglect and pain.
That I have to put out of my mind
They’ve said I shan’t suffer again.

They were days of neglect and pain,
Locked with no food in that shed.
They’ve said I shan’t suffer again;
There are only good times ahead.

Locked with no food in that shed,
The past hold memories of pain and strife.
There are only good times ahead.
Look forward to a brand new life.

Fantasmal Walk Back

Fantasmal Walk back into line
limes and lemons keeping time
So like crisping bacon or drinking wine
Out of the box ...can you spare a dime?
Touch me with your lust devine
Hating you!...with each new rhyme

Seagulls Flight

Seagulls Flight

The flight above the deep blue ocean

Soaring so high yet so close to the waves

Bravely flying in the light of the sun

Forever staying for the feast to be handed over.

Soaring so high yet so close to the waves

Searching for fish to dive and catch

Forever staying for the feast to be handed over

Knowing the sea has an endless supply of nourishment

Soaring so high yet so close to the waves

Bravely flying in the light of the sun

Searching for fish to dive and catch

The flight above the deep blue ocean
