Beauty spreads light
To curious eyes;
Finesse grooms sight
With profound sighs.

Curves and lines flow
In sensuous form;
Passion now shows
A crafty norm.

Joy spreads fond cheer
With happy feel;
Indulge thoughts here
As beauty heals.

See true light shine
To spark bold tense;
Greet touch divine:
Allow good sense.

Song in the wind
Gentle reminder:
Rain through bamboo trees

Chirpy delight
Instant enlightenment;
Heavy heart uplifted

Postcard from somewhere
Far far away:
Greetings from long journeys

Old photograph
Faded with old times;
Ancient memories linger

My mother's gaze
My father looks;
Picture of the dead

Pain taunts
Sufferings preside;
Soon liberation sublime

Hospital visit
A sick relative warded;
Healing family support

Two yellow birds
Canaries on wood ledge;
Sing of fond love

Sudden windy gust
Plays havoc with hair;
Air pregnant with rain

Torrential rain falling
Sky oozing water;
Viscous as oil

Long long queue
Taxi stand centipede;
No cab in sight

Common complaint
Common folks echo;
Too little time

By reservoir park
Bench wet with dew;
Curious eyes detect

Morning jog
Wilderness feeling;
Reservoir park circuit

My darling sleeps
Sweet dreams attend;
Angelic smiles decorate

Here I sit vivid:
Sculpt turn of phrase;
Poem emerging

Some long
For the good old days;
Fresh change intrudes

Anniversary thoughts
Think upon yesterdays;
Nothing much said

Needs and wants
Adversarial anti-climax
No solution yet

One more minute please
Morning wake-up call;
Sleepy feel malingers

OOMPH NOW-HERE?  OR
OOMPH NO-WHERE?

Fix the gasket
Let leaking stop;
Be high and dry

All in good time
Job said and done;
Contract anew

Words flirt
Wisdom hides;
Not much action

No one sees
Blind man cries;
Visual impact gone

Work day blues
Too much stress;
Multi-tasking ventures

Success lives here
In the zone;
Relax and worry

Too much
Too little;
Too late now

Customary rites
For modern day marriage;
Ancient following

Spring cleaning
Ritual seizures fling;
Fatigue turns to mock

Describe your day
Okay To-Do List;
Unfinished business loiter

Silence speaks easy
Nothing need be said;
Stillness obeys

Fruit basket full
Spiced variety;
Fortune cookie message

Lucky numbers
Lottery stakes;
Win or lose big time!

Laughter lingers
Kitchen commotion;
Menu plan review

Washing dishes
Racking and stacking;
Maximize usage

Decide now
Not to decide when;
Tentative passage

Supermarket queue
Long and winding road;
Impatience at check-out

Telephone call:
Can you come?
Where and why prompts

Sad dreary day
Old friend gone;
Heavenly recall

Eulogy unheard
Nobody came;
Sorry aftermath

Sanguine moment
Melancholy greets;
Sorrow weeping

Jog at skybridge
Dusk descends swiftly;
Deep darkness sums

Side by side we
Stride brisk and fast;
Stop clock moments

A neighbour smiles
Mobile cellphone chat;
Our feet speed away

Evening echoes
Cicada serenade;
Hazy ambience floats

Thoughts meander
Nothing to say;
Meal pack detour

Dinner for two
Me and you;
Silent melodrama

Digital TV
Sitcom sequesters;
Lavish drama serials

News in brief:
War, death, violence;
What else is new?

Bank account update
Cash flow and bills;
Thank God for money

Word for word
Sorry tales attest;
What happened where?

Mailbox excavation
Letters in a pile;
Billing gratitude

Author aligns art, allure aptly aims;
Union urges us, unleash urge upstream;
Timely tales taste tart, tension thrilling tame;
Happenings hurl hearse, hurts heaping hoarse hymns.
Exploit even ease, enter extra ears;
Note noisy nerves nest, notice nowness nudge;
Touching tender tease, truth thrusts toiling tears;
Ink inner impress, images indulge.
Choice charms crazy cheer, chase confronting calm;
Hurl healthy hustle, heal hurting heartache;
Evidence each ear, etch explains embalm;
Apply aid ample, applause aptly aches.
Reveal rapture ripe, rescue rash rumble;
Toilsome troubles tribe, tyrant takes tumble.

Flinging fond fun,
Reap rowdy run;
Play primal pun,
Soar shining sun.

Greet grand glimpse grown,
Blossoms boost bloom;
Spread senses sown,
Ripe riches room.

Newsy noise now,
Trust touching takes;
Expense endows,
Matter minds make.

Bloom brisk beauty,
String simple song;
Storm sweet sexy,
Stand succinct strong.

Soul samples signs,
Words will wild wine;
Deed dear design,
Beach bursting brine.

Amass apt ale,
Beer booze bubbly;
Prompt pulpy pale,
Appeal aptly.

Make madness moot,
Reason rips rhymes;
Smell spreading soot,
Calm crystal chimes.

Death defies deed,
Mood mind mingles;
Stillness spurs seed,
Touch treats tingle.

Voice vibrant verse,
Reach rude ruffle;
Tickle taut terse,
Mood moves muffle.

Spread sexy smiles,
Pray pretty play;
Gain grouchy guile,
Stillness styles stay.

Gloom governs greed,
Pinpoint pure please;
Nimble nude need,
Listing life lease.

Word wordy word,
Pain planting pain;
Herd healthy herd,
Gain gathers gain.

Tasty takes thrust,
Juicy joys jazz;
Blooms blazing buzz,
Feel feisty fest.

Ample address,
Claim calm compress;
Etch each express,
Tears tickle tress.

String sticky sums,
Special squeeze starts;
Cheery clouds come,
Humour heals heart.

Hoist heavy hold,
Seek solid strokes;
Fondle fresh folds,
Jig juggle jokes.

Time telling tale,
Love lines linger;
Sensuous such sale,
Feel form finger.

Ooze offers ooze,
Pulse primal play;
Blossoms bring booze,
Dance dreamy day.

Drowsy daze dreams,
Face fondles flame;
Sense soothing schemes,
Brisk blossoms blame.

Treasure true tell,
Love lingers long;
Dreamy dance dwells,
Sight soul self strong.

Loving looks line,
Prune playing poise;
Feel floating fine,
Verse verging voice.

Treasure true toils,
Love lifts leisure;
Sleep samples spoils,
Prune plump pressure.

Rustic reach rhymes,
Lines loiter lull;
Troubles tell time,
Name naked null.

Pleasure primes pain,
Wit wonders why?
Glimpse gutsy gain,
Style sanguine sigh.

Fancy feels faint,
Big blossoms bulge;
***** questions quaint,
Ideas indulge.

Prompt payment plays,
Ask apt award;
Death delays day,
Reap real reward.

Action aids arm,
Buzzy blooms bounce;
Cherry cheeks charm,
Pretty play pounce.

Wanting woos wealth,
Migraine mulls meet;
Hurts hurling health,
Gloomy groans greet.

Desire dreams day,
Big blossoms beam;
Pure passion plays,
Dear dancing dream.

Sense sensuous surge,
Bright bearings boom;
Play plunders purge,
Greet glory gloom.

Bright blooming book.
Charm creams cherry;
Lasting lines look,
Love leaps lovely.

Soar sweet stanza,
Choice charms charade;
Apt agenda,
Poise primes parade.

Grab grouchy gaze,
Loss litters lull;
Doom defers daze,
Moments mimes mull.

Dare describe deuce,
Loose lines lessons;
Meet mindful muse,
Words weave weapons.

Oomph

If energy fails,
And liveliness slows,
If strength becomes weak
And life’s sparkle goes.
Grab a partner…dance.

Vivacious verve
Can be restored.
Let vigor thrive.
Set life to drive.

Do the deal!
Jump and reel.
Dancing heals -

Mighty
Vigor

Oomph!
