Haiku Oomph 2

Customary rites
For modern day marriage;
Ancient following

Spring cleaning
Ritual seizures fling;
Fatigue turns to mock

Describe your day
Okay To-Do List;
Unfinished business loiter

Silence speaks easy
Nothing need be said;
Stillness obeys

Fruit basket full
Spiced variety;
Fortune cookie message

Lucky numbers
Lottery stakes;
Win or lose big time!

Laughter lingers
Kitchen commotion;
Menu plan review

Washing dishes
Racking and stacking;
Maximize usage

Decide now
Not to decide when;
Tentative passage

Supermarket queue
Long and winding road;
Impatience at check-out

Telephone call:
Can you come?
Where and why prompts

Sad dreary day
Old friend gone;
Heavenly recall

Eulogy unheard
Nobody came;
Sorry aftermath

Sanguine moment
Melancholy greets;
Sorrow weeping
