Real true love is such a precious thing
Unequaled in our human emotions
Certainly way ahead of hate and mistrust
This feeling of absolute devotion

Like no other since the world was new
So honoured and tested by time
Like a soft summer breeze on a starlit night
Like the smell of sweet roses divine

Nothing equals the feeling of love
Not even sweet chocolate fudge
Uh maybe chocolate fudge is pretty close
Naw, love's much sweeter, nudge, nudge

Ahh, I've thought of something sweeter
The smell of a newborn infant
Now who could contest that my friends
Totally divine, like heaven sent

Haphazardous Words

it comes at work week’s end
when the mind feels carefree
	and frivolous
comes that desire
	to be reckless with words

a want to mix abstract metaphors
some smelling like pine
	burning in an open fire
on a starlit night
under a lofty canopy of leaves

or a fancy to throw thoughts into the air
and catch them again
	as feather light words
that tickle fingertips
while writing patterns on a page

enjoying time knocking around ideas
concepts that excite the senses
like the aroma of sautéing garlic
or scorching mucous membranes
with a fry pan full of chilli

its seeking solace beyond disciplined thoughts
high on a boundless breeze
	catching fleeting fantastical images
this exhilarating rush to corral
	these haphazardous words

Real true love is such a beautiful thing
Unequaled in our human emotions
Certainly way ahead of hate and mistrust
This feeling of absolute devotion

Like no other since the world was new
So honored and tested by time
Like a soft summer breeze on a starlit night
Like the smell of sweet roses divine

Nothing equals the feeling of love
Not even sweet chocolate fudge
Well maybe chocolate fudge is pretty close
Naw, love's much sweeter, nudge, nudge

Ahh, I've thought of something sweeter
The smell of a newborn infant
Now who's going to contest that my friends

Summer Breeze the Jasmine Song

See the flowers blowing in the garden
in the evening on a starlit night
A little light a- streaming through my petals
lets me know everythings`alright

Summer breeze makes me feel fresh
blowing through the sensual of my flesh
Summer breeze makes me feel fresh
blowing through the sensual of my flesh

See the love note laying on the table
a little message from the boy next door
so he ushers me in the silence
through the screen and across the floor

Summer breeze makes me feel fresh
blowing through the sensual of my flesh
Summer breeze makes me feel fresh
blowing through the sensual of my flesh

Sweet days of lovin' the heart is in bloom
my eyes are made up, the color of moon
he leads me home to where I belong
he leads me there safe and strong

I feel the arms that reach out to hold me
I feel the arms that never want to scold me

Summer breeze makes me feel fine
Blowing through the Jasmine of my mind.

The Moon

The moon is calling on a starlit night,
looking for stars to attend his ball,
they are the dancers of the skies
who will hoof and twirl before his eyes.

They are the brightest and most talented,
showing off their greatest and latest steps
as they dance across the celestial ballroom
as eager and enthused as a new bridegroom.

Oh Bury Me

Oh bury me high upon a peaceful country mountain.
By the stream of crystal waters flowing like an endless fountain.

With it's emerald green hillside dotted with beautiful wild flowers.
And tall pine trees that scent the air in a warm summer shower.

Find an old oak tree with branches full for shade.
Where the little birds sing to me from nests they have made.

Oh bury me 'neath the sun so warm and bright.
Where the moon shines full on a starlit night.

Close to my beloved country cabin made of log.
To be watched and protected by my faithful hound dog.

Oh bury me 'neath Gods great cathedral of blue.
Where eternal sleep is peaceful and true.
