OBSERVE others before you speak

BLAME games never prove successful

JUSTIFYING wrongdoing is always wrong

ELEVATE the interests of others with kindness

CORRECT others with understanding and wisdom

TAKE time to listen and learn before you speak

INDIFFERENCE shuts the door to objectivity

VERIFICATION is a must before we can wisely trust

INCLUSIVITY goes a long way in seeking to be objective

TIMIDITY has no place for those seeking to be just

YEARS of experience with people encourages equality

Tension and mass
    of solid and void,
Spirit and science
    never destroyed.

Flesh and wise reason,
    objective to rule:
Acceptance the lesson,
     time is the tool.

The Craftsman's Objectivity

We show them the way,
We clear the path for them,
We pull them out of obscurity,
Into the threshold of success,
They're excited at this point,
They are propelled to
 different levels of accomplishments,
Some are unyielding,
Some rebel,
Some are recalcitrant,
Some are obstinate,
They seem not to understand,
They can’t fully comprehend,
That we bask in their glory,
Their light brings us to the limelight,
We share a fraction of its luminance,
We go overboard in our effort,
To ensure they have a
 smoother sail than we had,
They might not see this now,
Time will speak for us,
Time will embolden all,
Then they'll know,
We don’t live for now but for the future.

The Object of Objectivity
David J Walker

Objectively trapped within
	The lost cause of
Freedom from bias that
comes at the cost

Of uncertain death
        ambivalent rebirth
A quality of character rehearsed

A paupers portion
	A supplicant petition

The magician hides the truth
	Inside revisions
Coerced

The magician hides the ruse
	Inside intentions
Emersed

Premium Member Recovery From Subjective Sight

Old adage: What goes around comes around

Recovery from Subjective Sight

Subjective eyesight sees a narrow way
No stoic smile for the inner child's face
Headlong into a righteous angst delay-
Humility on trial with biased grace.

Peering into mansions of another soul,
Reminds ego explore all new labyrinths,
Savor truth hidden in rhythmic rhymes’ role
Let words escape harsh judgements damning breath.

Grace restrains words dogged to throw verbal stones
Mercy’s lens delights in effort’s labor
Refreshes eyes enchantment for heart zones
Finds the unique original to savor.

Releases judgement of poet premonitions
Removes cataracts – compassion’s mission

Premium Member Implicit Objectivity

Naively we think objectivity is easy
that we are immune to implicit bias,
but our history, background and experiences
are subjective and complicit.
For how would we be different
if we trod another path
donned another's shoes,
re-traced the footprints
that other's left for us to follow.
But such simulation can never subrogate
For we are what we are and that becomes us.
