The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Hellen Keller
Snow-tipped mountains ranged around the prairie,
Small rivulets wavered down the steep sides,
Spreading nutriments, flourishing flowers.
Bright red poppies, and yellow celandines
Swayed all around, as a balmy breeze blew.
Aiding agile grey geese gracefully glide.
Above the shade of a cluster of oaks.
A few old men tended a flock of sheep,
Most chewed unleavened bread, nibbling on cheese.
Till to a tavern they'd go, to drink beer.

Hope is our mother.
That nurturing warm woman.
She is a flow of living waters over a dessert land.
Refreshing your soul, outpouring life.
Intoxicating your reality, birthing you into the promise land.
We are unnourished children thirsty for milk,
desperate for just a drop.
With the leaders carrying our nutriments in trunks and trucks,
We trust that the scolding from our mother has
beaten out all the greed that lingers,
the virus that spreads and sucks all made promises,
we believe you will serve us well from the menu.
We choose and hope in you.

VERMILLION AUTUMN
What is autumn to be, what it is to me;
The distance from the sun the earth is to be;
Nutrient not contained far beyond the universe;
Grasses, shrubs and trees losing nutriments;
Like blood leaving from your arms and hands runs;
Leaves losing colors, changing from green to orange, yellow browns;
Alas, tis be a vermillion autumn;
Where the orange, scarlet, crimson;
Bright red scarlet leaves ambers of coral gold ochre chartreuse colors autumn;
Colors running off brilliants hue photoperiodism senescences bottom;

Loving rain falls down on me, let
her love continue to cover me.
Loving rain pour over me and let
the floods of your rain drench me.
Loving rain flood me and let your
nutriments sustain me. Like water
we need, her love feels real to me.
Let her loving rain flow through
the stem of my vain and let me
feel the root of her love as her
rain soak through me. Loving rain
that pour from above let this rain
be the comfort of your love.

Each year, there it comes with its special effect.
Ramadhan is the break from spiritual neglect,
A reminder of the suffering …people less fortunate.
The ones who can’t afford a daily meal in their plate.
Ramadhan focuses on spirituality,
It tones down our animal instinct and its voracity.
Reviving our goodness… appealing to our heart
Guiding our attention … polishing our chart.
No means of nutriments from sun up to sun down,
It opens the doors … our hunger it disowns.
For more reflection… connection … absorption,
Of The Divine Order…well worth admiration.
Ramadhan is lightning … like a wake up call.
For self-discipline… journey of self-control.
Covering all areas… leaving “I WANT!” far behind,
Listening to our heart rather than our minds.
Oh! How I anticipate the goodness of Ramadhan!
