But being

Endless in its manifestation
Wondrous in its display
Nowhere but here
Nowhen but now

And if there is real love involved
Despite all we don’t know
Does it even matter at all?

Waking To Duality
I wake from a dream
Where I’d been in nondual samadhi
A vivid clarity of thoughtless meditation
I tried to sustain once awake
Until I realized I probably have such dreams
All the time and never know.
The vanity and thus duality of life
Is the desire and attempt to recreate
What already is
Making it into the shape
Of our own preference.
Adding the personal touch of our decor,
Thought and sound track
To capture something elusive
Beyond the edge of thought, sound and vision;
A comfortable little bottle
To be a captive genie within.

The Birth of Light
Spirit and flesh
Two in one
Are the definition
Of beauty itself
For apart they are inert
While together there is dance
And where there is dance
There is joy
And freedom
And the discharge
Of something the mystics
Fondly call light.

Where oneness is the natural state
Diversity is an illusion
Another word for it is
Individual identity,
And despite the rhetoric
And positive PR spin,
It’s actually the root cause
Of all suffering
