Valentine’s Day
Both of us,
#Nestled
In our tent
Across
A gorgeous
Scenery of
Snow-covered
Mountains
Happy, and
In love

Hush now, my little one, close your eyes
And drift off to sleep, under starry skies
Let your dreams take you to faraway lands
Where the sun always shines, and the sea is like glass
The flowers are blooming, the birds always sing
The fairies are dancing on gossamer wings
The world is so magic in this fairyland place
And you can be anything, what a wonderful space
So close your eyes tightly, as I sing you to sleep
I'll watch over you, my little one, my sweet
In this lullaby dreamland of love and of light
My darling child, everything will be alright
Hush now, my little one, let your troubles fade away
As you drift off to sleep in this enchanted bay
Just remember that I'm here for you, always by your side
As we journey together through the night, in our dreams we'll abide
So rest now, my little one, in peaceful slumber deep
For tomorrow's another day full of wonder and sleep

right at the right plain
of my eyes I spy in view
with my eyes on the right side
sits a duck on the
roof sitting aloof yet still
right at the right plain
why? Is this duck here
on a second story roof
sitting still like he lights
just sitting upon
Lakeside perch sitting a top
a second story
concrete roof a duck
rests, sits, nestled ever still
concrete Lakeside roost
sitting still upon
on a second story roof
why? Is this duck here

No separation..
This fundamental
Bears repeating..
But apparently
Not heard in
Repeated stories..
But along may come
A story with a paradox
Nestled within..and
The buzz that arises
Shouts with glee:
No separation...

Nestled in silence
'neath soft shrouds of snow
Two loving bluebirds
in no hurry to go
I watched them in wonder
How happy they seemed
Lovers doting on each other
sharing winter's ice cream
I made my way home
as the sun set in the west
and thought to myself ~
I'd seen true-love at its best

I see the shimmers of your light, Lord.
My life unfolds to one body
Becoming the air that runs across the golden fields.
The wet pure water that swirls and flows,
The soil that yields sweet fragrant blooms.
Nestle under your wings, finding strength inside
To continue;
I am able to breathe and rest at your feet,
As my head lies upon your lap as I sleep.
Your touch,
Helps to control the strife whilst you stroke my hair.
My heart starts to beat again refusing to let go of you.
No matter how great my need,
You are always there extending your hand
Abling me to rise holding up my head again.
Lord let me be your instrument,
An instrument of change.
Give me the strength and courage to go beyond and change my life,
And help those that need that same strength.

Amid nailed pictures and my Eden’s full
blooms, I nestle between new dawn and sleep.
My love overflows within sacred walls;
limbs crossed and curled with no reason to weep.
Then reeling, a burden crushes my soul,
and slashes at my gilded heart. Last night,
cries reached to heaven in softest whispers.
My loving Father restored soul and sight.
Earth orbits abound in ev'ry season
of life. Broken wings heal to fly with dreams;
A love never lost in purple-hued clouds,
and I wake to an unexpected gleam.
I learn through struggles that God catches tears,
releasing them on our gardens when dry.
Fear comes to devour, yet through Him, I’m strong.
He answers my prayers with loving reply.

I stopped breathing
as your hands left my skin
petrified,
trees grew around me
their roots pulling me
and scored me into the earth
standing over millenniums
I waited and watched empires fall
towering infernos
created bush cities
of natures homeless
I was shelter,
breathing for deer life
waiting for the time
of moments,
one mini second
provoked into lust
and gentled from rage
I am remade
and,
as all empires fell
so did I
milled and cut
from ash-wood
my essence
made into seven
split in half
till,
at the core,
I am completely
at one
though lifeless
and unseeing
painted hands
of a Matryoshka doll
feel needles and pins
of life
until infinity kisses eternity,
again,
millenniums will pass
and aching with the grain
I hold my wooden breath
to feel your hands again
