mother
here no longer
but forever judged
you were everything
the self-sacrificing
source of all love and comfort
and all rage and rejection
you made me
and i am somehow part of you
and i was your mirror
showing what you did not want to see
weakness, neediness
the object of your shame and self-loathing
now
(just like me)
instead of producing a bouquet of roses
I disfigure this ode to motherhood

My heart is bound with twin-distressed grommets
But every night I look up at the sky Waiting for a comet.
My eyes fixate and focus before they leak like faucets
And I glance up, I zealously try
To spot it, the elusive comet.
My fate seems tangled in spider webs
Where I'm the fruit fly awaiting demise
The anxiety flows, the panic ebbs
I hope I pass away before I realize....
Yes, I hope I die before I realize
Maybe the comet is never to come
It's Halley's comet I want before my eyes
And the outliving odds are zero to none....
...
My heart is bound with ever-loosening grommets
It feels ever so often, it's being taunted
But still I await, albeit halfheartedly,
I still await my comet.

Different choices,
Life unfolds,
Choose your own ending,
Carve out your void.
Twin flames,
Similar paths,
Shared trauma,
Halves of the same soul.
I learned my twin flame had died—
Or should I say,
She was silenced as she cried,
Overwhelmingly divine.
Uncanny karmic frequencies,
Simplest rendition,
Union of binaries,
Where polarities merge.
Toxic neediness,
Fear of solitude,
Fear of the unknown,
Unsavory sentiments linger.
The futility of humanity unfolds,
As Rumi once proclaimed,
“A thousand half-loves must be forsaken
To bring one whole heart home.”
To crack the universe's circuitry,
My thousand desires weave,
A multitude of incarnations
Chronicled by countless incantations.
Sage my space,
Burning incense,
Polite inhibitions dissolve.
Of déjà vu,
Of worlds askew,
Alternate realities converge.
As I grasp the truth,
I exist simultaneously,
I shun away from parallel lives
And the vast expanse of multiverse skies.

The beauty of the leaves embraced their difference
As they shriveled ‘neath the sap drained Maple
Celebrating their continuum in the soil
A sadness tinged the sun’s smile
The mindless flocks fled, as did my thoughts
In search of kinder climes devoid of tears
Guided through the present by the past
Sifting through the distant clouds of when
Gnarled trees contort ensnared in climbing vines
Age punished by the neediness of youth
Old men enshrined on crumbling park benches
Children chasing wingless butterflies
Soft lines embrace the aura of a face
Alone against the backdrop of its foes
Walking as the rain turns into mud
Its presence now become a distant stream

It's never enough for me,
In this terrible deficit I dwell,
Lost in an overdraft of desires,
Reaching out repeatedly,
Yet forever tethered to you.
Where does this neediness arise?
An inquiry you never make,
Can you quench this hunger,
I ask again and again,
But never find fulfillment,
In mere words, one or two.
Our connection remains unbroken,
Always linked, never a concern,
Forever yours, my heart avows.
Yet I'm drowning in scarcity,
Engulfed in this profound lack,
We meet but once a year,
That moment resurfaces,
Where minus and plus converge,
Nourishing me for another season.
You promise to be there till the end,
Parting with a kiss, a bittersweet farewell,
For my time will surely come,
And when I'm gone,
The deficit will cease.
Until then, I crave your presence,
Longing to immerse myself,
To revel in your essence,
To savor life, in your embrace.

I notice a face with myriad bent distress.
With eyes that include a trace of sadness,
A dreary routine without a success story,
A vivid photo of the topic dyed with clarity.
His elements are unemotional and calm,
Seeing elapses on the aegis of life qualm.
Love has been his mate and accomplice.
He deemed it right by the slow compass.
A wiped-out execrable ruffled face is rough.
Neediness mutiny yet glad for his estate bluff,
The abysmal face conceals a delicate heart.
His soul is more aware than it seems at first.

Winter fetches a hillock of the wind and downpour.
Exacerbating people to mislay their blight core.
Peculiar demesne keepers are utterly aroused.
While tiny dwellings, slums are bulldozed.
Flush breaks out among the poorest of the poor.
Thoroughly jiggling, they shiver in the spongy cure.
None of the people around me appear to descry them.
They are enduring dull, agonizing demise mayhem.
In the midst of the winters harshest season,
The scenery is desolate, and homes sap blacken.
Snow inversely overwhelms everything.
Making hills that are huge and transcending.
People in neediness succumb to the winter.
While we continue to offer a hefty fee for a heater,
We tuck ourselves into our cozy beds for the night.
People have stuck to death all around from frostbite.
Relish life by humming songs of love every day.
I'm unconcerned if it's winter or summer ray.
The universe is a child's hand on your shoulder.
When life is volatile, death lacks uniqueness jolter.

Human greed will succeed in heating the planet to a dangerous degree
Consumption destruction evolutions function and strenuous need
How brilliant are we?
We the people structured to feed our unlimited want for want subsequently never satisfied with that what arrives immediately derive an idea from our minds eyed desire and stride forth to acquire obtain abuse and leave behind exhausted until haunted by our thoughtless past judging us in the future as bad
Lazy or grandeur, the unmet demand for, the want to command more, neediness angle, superficial stature
when invasions of land by polar capsules will rid us of shores as we sell ourselves short ignoring reports for the false the wealthy forged to keep wealthy wealthy which in time will make us walk backwards into the seas we once crawled free and so we will see the full cycle of humanity
2050 under the sea
Put a man on Mars or this planet of ours

With the era of capitalism
We were making people's
Slaves that are the equi bearers
In their own den
Living with the neediness
Surviving like a prey
With a great fear
With the sunrise of modernity
We had lacked our society
To be great
We want to be guilt full
Not want to make
Nation a house of equality
To create a nation
A centre of ballisticity
Let's count upto ten
And feel your heart
Did you really
Thought that the number decreased in the past year
Did you really think
That the number
Creates a sign of dignity
Yes it shows that
Ten among hundred thirty five
Crores are richest
After this cruel reality
Still love to drink the guilt
But answer your heart
After a try of 75 steps
Let's see what the result
Will our nation decreased the guilt
Let's see what the result

Defiant are shards of dirt which particle apart
Never to know their neighbouring flakes,
Not integrating, no squish of accompanyment
Forlorn separates which support not life, nothing
Beneath rangy weeds, breeze blows loose granules
Shifted without resistance,
foreign adjacent land is theirs temporarily
Only for necessity, proximity is parallel, merge free
Neediness discarded, only Heaven can help dead dirt
Because the moments spent observing a scrappy tree
Beside withering leaves has hard expanding pears
Held by delving stem, fed, assisted, nutrient found
Show me expired soil needs nourishment
Requires deeply dug roots, intrusion, rooster boost
Sand blown syndrome suppresses realisation
Instinct drives attempt to be cleansed and extend
23rd January
This dirt hurts

When the heart cries, the eye wells up
When the heart bleeds, the eye blinds out
For release of tethered emotions piled up
Emotions nurtured within and without
When the heart cries, the eye shudders
From deep bitterness that aches the heart’s kindness
Bitterness nurtured on a beloved shoulder
In a restive quest for tenderness
When the heart cries, the eye sheds tear
From wounds of reckless love
Incubated and nurtured out of fear
The heart cries when out of love
When the heart cries, the eye ails
Groping in the blindness stupor
Strong emotions pile up along love rail
Calm as a child in dreamless slumber
When the heart like the stomach
Fractiously takes in without fill
Well up like balloon stock after stock
Yet it rambles for more still
When the heart cries, the eye yells
From jejune responses to her neediness
When the heartfelt is within the heart walls
When the heart has known no bitterness
When the heart cries, the eye cries
For restitution of her juvenile love and kindness
In those days when trees were evergreen
When breeze swayed the trees in gentle kindness

From day of birth a howling ghost coyote,
Ranging "Steppenwolf" of western plains,
A spineless cousin to more staid peyote,
Apex wonder drug of wild domains.
A lonesome cry expresses inner feelings,
Tempted now and then to run with pack,
Though dominance and harems are glass ceilings,
Focusing dim wit on what I lack.
First come, first serve is Nature's rule, not Darwin,
Burrow just a temporary rest,
Survival means my stomach can't be empty,
Endless sky the borders of life's test.
But kindness is a virtue I can't fathom,
Neediness is heart of daily fare,
Avoiding pain is Nature's only rhythm,
Ghost-like, when you need me, I'm not there!

Chameleons
Life’s only consistency is change
for “nature abhors a vacuum”.
Time, inexorably tinges each moment,
colors it in fading yellows.
Memory’s dog-eared pages,
entwined with nostalgia’s neediness,
produce an altered state,
an hereditary fraud.
We are, at best, evolved chameleons
shifting colors lest the truth hold sway,
parsing words to spare the victim
the gravity of the crime.
Muted voices slinking silently
along the edge of rage,
tongues flicking in feigned ferocity,
mumbled mantras blinded eyes.
Night falls behind closed eyelids,
heads buried in the sand,
sentinels of tattered futures
cursed by nature - colorblind.
