Ode to You Woman
My wild woman, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you trot, walk and soar,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the perfect girl.
Let me compare you to a fancy crust?
You are more content, mortal and pleasing.
Good heat toasts the clear frolics of August,
And summertime has the intent freezing.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your excited eyes, lips and smile.
Thinking of your present lips fills my days.
My love for you is the nautical mile.
Now I must away with a blighted heart,
Remember my mad words whilst we're apart.

IF YOU PULL A LONG FACE : PART X
IF you pull a long face
For ten straight nights starting today
You bet you'd look like Canada Bernache
Though fat chance like swan in Norway
But if you pull a very very long face
Your rivals might not like it in the Sea-Ay-Yeah
And might seek to shorten the nautical-mile face
To a right and proper mile-long face all in a day
Yet if you keep pulling that mile-long face
The wilds of the Siberian Goulag would you slay
After long lone nights the firing-squad to face
Notes from the Underground your mind mainstay
Then if you pull the lone long face
In Algerian quarries Who will your ransom pay
Thirty-thousand ducats El Manchot to brace
Battling windmills in Castillian Quixotic disarray
So if you must pull the longingly long face
Your chef-d'œuvre will-o'-the-wisp bright stay
Your day of glory on the Internet mere pittance
Think of all the great works slush piles overlay

When I saw Richard last
Sailing the Winds of Change
His mainsail unfluraled by Whisper
With a Siren's song in range
The melody sweet like wine
Of love's long lost refrain
While the Saint danced upon the rigging
His face full of Neptune's Reign
A voyage is filled with peril
Each league and nautical mile
A journey of self discovery
Etched upon a dolphin's smile
The voyage nears it's destination
The vessel hull splintered wood
A question posed unanswered
Did he do all he could?

I came late one season in the eve
and I noticed those emerald eyes
waiting for me, I did not see.
Waited to late to return from the sea
and now someone else holds my dream.
How is this, I thought to me.
A walk along the dock lead me, to the ole cemetery
where there stood a weeping, willow tree,
from the corner of my eye, this I did see.
Roses are red and violets are blue my love,
My traveler in the after life I wait for you.
Beyond the sea, there you'll meet me, where
I will no longer come second to her reefs.
All eternity you promised me.
I held her locket in my hand and how I wished
for her I could have been a different man. They say
you never miss a thing until to you it no longer brings.
To the sea I returned and days and nights pass as
the sea churns, each time the sun sets deep below
I think I might see her, my emerald love.
I smell her lilacs on the wind and each time a small grin
followed by a smile, for I know we'll meet again,
where the horizon meets, the nautical mile.

Strong like a tree deeply rooted in the earth
We’ll remain… like a rock, God is our strength
We are safe in the hollow of God’s holy hand,
Living in a lovely land, we’ll fear no sinking sand.
Weather the wind blows our tender tree
Even if storms swings our silent… sea,
Our love will only bow to the blue breeze
We’ll sail sweetly… we will try to squeeze
Look into my eyes it’s filled with fire
For you my love… a daring desire
My heart is hot steamed on a sincere stove
I’m on fire for my angel… sent from above
This fire of ours can be quenched by many waters
On streams or sea… our love will fill all quarters
With you by me we can sail safely on the… Nile
Sharing love and life in every nautical mile
The earth was build to accommodate the water
Wind and fire…love was brought them together.

Every summer I sail sweetly on a still and serene sea;
Floating my beautiful boat with my friends and fans,
We Cruise carefully on my colorful Cabin Cruiser.
Reefing and racing, running and roaming…relaxing,
Floating a boat is fun, lovely and lively, I’m never lonely,
My boat is on pressure while I’m deep in pleasure;
Playing games, partying; with sights and sounds on the sea.
Sailing before the wind… I follow the wind’s course,
The speed is sometimes slow and sometimes it hastens like a horse,
Floating a boat is lively… little luggage, lovely voyage.
The breeze and the boat befriend each other… by and by;
Every nautical mile, on the Nile, we seldom sing and smile,
Floating my beautiful boat is a terrific transport… full of fun.
