Abuse
Abuse comes in many forms, addiction, violence, neglect, but these are only naming a few , there’s plenty others yet.
it can take a toll on many ,in loads of different ways, some come out the other side, others are scared to say.
Abuse in whatever shape or form, requires a lot of strength, to make it out alive, but many live are taken, and some only just survive.
The aftermath, withdrawals, can be forever scared on those who are surrounding, those people being harmed.
Abuse can be dangerous, no matter how it’s caused,I would never wish on anyone, to get the dreaded call.
Abuse is always out there, yes it’s sad but true, but the best thing in life is ,to have support around you

Titling a poem

Which process harder
the future beguiled

Thank You Fahter
As I close my eyes,
& I start to pray:
Lord with all of my heart
I just wanna say;
"That I love & thank You Father~
for the abundance of good,
that You brought to my life,
just as You promised You would...
Though I'm completely unworthy,
& without naming a price,
Still You gave to me freely,
& never thought twice...
The reason for such Grace ~
I may never understand
But it's supplied me the strength
to finally make me a stand.
To turn loose of the darkness,
& forever cling to the light
And though there's times that I'll stuggle,
at least I'll put up a fight...
I know that I said it before......
but still ; I must say it again :
That I love You & I thank You Father
In Jesus name.... Amen" ! ! !

Naming a Poem Type
Ricky was the first to sell piles of wood
He named them ricks, (stuck on himself somewhat)
Also as many whole limbs as he could
Limbs were cheaper, not needing to be cut
A new poem type, a fellow would make
But found naming it, his most daunting task
By chance passed Ricky on a stroll he'd take
And "Limb or rick?", he would hear Ricky ask!

Spangled Flavours
Way back in my childhood days
used to love real favourite sweet
they were hard boiled fruit flavours
real refreshing they were to eat
Mars Limited in UK made them
having many flavours totally nine
strawberry, orange lemon naming a few
but my favourite was simply lime
They had a real good tasty bite
but sucking them made them last
so the flavour lasted real long
the kids loved them sold real fast
Sadly don't make them no more
todays sweets just not the same
quality don't have that taste
like yesterdays as they claim!

It's Not My Life, It's His
Riding to work in the car I saw this certain license plate
Naming a certain rock star in how all this played into fate
I wouldn't give such praise for it's God who gets the Glory
Leading me along in my days even in this tiny little story
Perhaps in a minute or so I changed to another station
With two familiar words I know with the Bon Jovi nation
"My Life" is what the words were and that was the end
To the Lord I defer listening to messages He does send
This plate I've never seen before followed by that phrase
How many know what I mean in each and all of our days
You just think a thought, how often the Lord will respond
All these things I was taught has created my greatest bond
So the plate was Jovi-4evr as I just past that car right by
Sure it was pretty clever but the premise of it was all a lie
The Lord making it clear to me in His consistent presence
To hear such as I see, as it is always His Love I can sense

Naming a Hurricane
A morning in a gown of mist and dewdrops
Blankets my world with her warmth
I bask in her torrential shower of love
And slip into her tropical depths
Last night we shared a dream to a distant shore
Something in our hearts that only love can reveal
An untouched paradise for us to soar
In search of its first lovers’ feel
You’re a question waiting to be answered
A strong vision in need of a visionary
And to you – I vow to always speak the truth
I pray to fulfil someone so extraordinary
The heavenly sight of a thousand angels
Circling as you descend on the wing
And there in the eye of your perfect storm
Your rumbling praises I will sing
And as you land – I worship at your feet
A hurricane off the scale – your name reserved
My sunrise there in your stormy eyes
A vortex of love on your hurricane wind

I'M Eating My Way Through the Fridge, Tra-La
I'm eating my way through the fridge, tra-la!
I'm eating my way through the fridge
Do I feel a little bit guilty about it?
Maybe a bit more than a smidge
Someone's got to get rid of this stuff
It's been here for more than a week
The plastic containers are starting to bulge
Don't dare lift their lids for a peek
Saw a big bunch of week old burritos
Get up and start dancing around
Thought I could hear a Mariachi band
It was a faint, almost inaudible sound
The vegetable bin was rockin' with laughter
As a tomato all mushy and ripe
Was cuddling up to a overripe cucc
That smelled like an old guttersnipe
All in all the scene wasn't pleasant
Next time we'll try eating faster
Before the office for the environment
Declares an ecological disaster
I'm eating my way through the fridge, tra-la!
It's a service I provide for my country
And Greenpeace is actually thinking
Of naming a ship after me!
