Premium MemberThat Pause Between Summer And Autumn

The footprints of Summer are left to fade
garnished by Autumn as it starts to slow
and steals the sunlight with its dim-lit shade
as the seasons begin to ebb and flow

The Autumn's nip chills its honeyed glow
as the wet leaves of Summer have withdrawn
to leave a pause mid-change of Autumn's show
as it paints vivid colors of the dawn

Summer's green mutates towards leaves brighter
seasons dance together in a ballet
The day between seasons grows tighter
This pageantry of change is on display

The Corona Blues

The Corona Blues (Revisited)

So sick of being stuck at home
Just want to get out and roam
Can go nowhere without a mask
Can’t do my weekly tasks
I got the lowdown Corona blues

Get high all-day
It’s the only way
I can deal with the stress
Of all this mess
I got the lowdown Corona Blues....

Some say it's overblown
That really makes me moan
That statement is so untrue
Follow the rules on what to do
I got the lowdown Corona Blue.

Seems now people don’t listen
As this virus mutates and glistens
Some ignore the fact it exists
Do the wrong thing and take risks
Yeah, I got the lowdown Corona (Covid-19) Blues

Just a little humor to lighten people's moods a little

Tardigrade

Consider the lowly Tardigrade
To survive any environment, it is tailor made
Commonly known as the water bear
This handsome creature can live any where
From underground to the vacuum of space
It is no threat to the human race
Unless, it mutates and does grow
Then it looks like it could be a ferocious foe

Energy Creates

As energy accumulates,

It also creates,

Operates,

In different states.

Obtaining traits,

Learning to propagate,

Designing a substrate,

Continuing to circulate.

It starts to vibrate,

Concentrate,

Learning to duplicate,

A code to translate.

A way to activate,

And begin to animate,

As the air mutates,

Into shapes that fascinate.

Molecules starts to migrate,

As they rotate and calibrate,

Delegate and designate,

Into something great.

One able to captivate,

Encapsulate,

A being to dictate,

How its energy will create.

Premium MemberOut My Window

kaleidoscopic - it mutates hour to hour,
week to week, season to season
and day to night, when it is still and black
     except for a pensive visage
whose glazed gaze peers back,
almost begging the question, "what"?!
I have no answers, only smudged thoughts;
leaves green and then fall, flowers bloom then wilt,
lives mix and meld - marry and mourn
midst a carousel of brown trucks
     and their hurried drivers
 - sirens and gawking and caring tears
through a lens of what we're made of
and will return to - quenched sand
this unshuttered sash reveals nothing
           and everything
especially when it is still and black
                       and fragile

Once a green worm gets an Agro journal
Finds a write-up about the fresh vernal

Stops eating cabbages, collard and kale
Gets thrilled and goes on reading its own tale

Reads highly and grows into a bookworm
Feels unsafe to be there for a full term

            Gets panicked seeing killer solution
Figures out for a quick resolution

Mutates into a moth with glowing hues
Flights around flowers with a lovely muse

Premium MemberTime Tell Time

Time,
tick, tick it moves,
unrestrained by mortal powers,
trampling on all, silently.
Leaving some behind,
taking many along its gentle or dreary path,
for one, a fulfilled destiny,
some in regrets,
others in grandiose adulation,
Yet subjected to the change of time,
to some with open gates and palaces of passing filth,
to others, the gates are closed as enemy to time.
moments alter our state speedily,
Joys too soon mutates in this clime.
Yet Time, unrelenting.
Time, Tell Time.
to some, it appears as Friend,
to others, it veils itself in darkness as a foe,
who can appease Time?
it rushes upon us from cradle
leaves memories or takes us both away.
Leading to the paths of innumerable choices
Time,
Tell Time.

Consort

My goodness, how old we both are.
You, my friend, have weathered better than I.
Sturdy legs, while mine are fragile; liable to betray me without warning.
Rat-atat-tat
I groan. The effort- for what? A wasted journey?
Salisbury cathedral hangs limp, a depiction of man's endeavours for redemption.
Below it, empty white windows.
Another knock.
Lethargy mutates into curiosity at the ripple in our harmony.
I caress your smooth, strong arms and shuffle forward.
But then again, no.
Sinking back; begone world.
I reach for my black tool and sink into your embrace.
Content just you and I.

All Things Must Pass

In the world everything mutates,
the scene of the earth,
the design of the world,
the color of the sea,
the texture of the soil,
the slope of the hill,
the sky of the day,
the glow of the night,
the desert city,
the desert in the ocean,
the sweetness of honey,
the bitterness of pain,
the taste of desire,
our wildness,
our unconsciousness,
the age of eld age,
the youth of the fresh,
the bottom of the depth,
the end of the beginning,
the beginning of the end,
the existence itself...
 Things transform, everything passes,
less what remains...
And what is...!?
We don `t realize yet... !

Premium MemberDeadly Invitation

 Parchment letter sealed with wax
Ancient communication did not fax
Addressed to me in elaborate style
The ink was crimson, it did beguile.

With hands that shook I opened it
Read the signature threw a fit
Seems I've heard from Frankenstein
Invite sounds deadly, not divine.

There's no option a coach will call
I'm thinking of a way to stall
Seems Mary Shelly will be there
Can I breathe their deadly air?

Covid virus a rampant threat
Fear for life no vaccine yet
Politicians useless without a clue
Tea with Victor a big taboo.

All dressed up in Victorian best
Wearing a cross it has been blessed
The horses are powerful soon we arrive
Goosebumps all over, will I survive?

Mask is on it's a vigilant move
Virus mutates, science approves
Bathed in bleach 'tis the fashion
Now I need a little compassion.

The butler looks like a composite
Tell no lie holding down vomit
Too late now I'm through the door
Dear readers, sorry there is no more.

Saving God

Don’t let me lose myself again
The violence feasts, as it tears in
A feeling worse than horror
Swallows
But tries, there is nothing there
Hollow
The itch follows
Without catalyst
Thoughts underneath paranoia
Gobble
And gobble
The magma rises beneath
As my bearings wobble
A realization of death
Without the threat
If I could trust myself
Let go of the net
Now God descends into the pit
I reach, my arms no longer exist
Dispatch to find an alternate
Begins, without any lead
After 48 hours pass
The fruit mutates
No longer yields its seed
But the monster has to eat
I dangle, I lose my feet
Squirm as I listen close
My eyes have tremors
And my nose is stuffed with smoke
Wind barrels from the West
Inhaled, lungs only can choke
And choke
Heart, alone to fight
Or die under the weight of note
Could I keep God from the fire
By cradle of mind, by tote?
The monster nibbles its teeth
Sinking my only boat
Just one last hold
To freeze all that lies below

A Digital Karma

I hover in a meditative state;
Delaying my awakening from this virtual cell;
A listless conscience mutates a myosphere;
Contemplating the zenith of an urban meme.
Unfettered by loose social structures;
I channel energies to locate a pulse exact;
Murmuring the karmic mantra in a trance;

This is the age of the avatar Me,
This is the spirit I want to be,
This space, this place, this entity,
This is the truth I seek to free.

Neon pulses react to stimulate;
Expanding digital symphonies with new zeal;
I project the conscious I in a nanosphere;
An imperfect narrative succors the wanton stream.
Protected in this matter of vague contours;
I promote something sensual but also abstract;
Prompting the homage in a collective chant;

This is the age of the avatar We,
This is the spirit we want to be,
This space, this place, this entity,
This is the truth we seek to free.

Premium MemberIn the Blink of An Eye

The passage through life is like an unchartered river leading to the sea.
The uncertainty of the flow is always something that’s real
You may move very fast or hardly move at all.
You may traverse a wild current or get caught in its swirl

Nature plays this game when we think we can deal
Nature plays its game and doesn’t care when we reel.

Perhaps the key to happiness is found in the balance of the flow?
We are strong in the world but do we listen to the world when nature says no?

Perhaps we need to stop dead still and look at where we are?
Perhaps nature’s watching and judging our moves and thinks we’ve gone too far?

Do we realise that to the world we are just animals here in time?
A virus that mutates in the world is as natural has the Moon in the sky.
A pandemic that can stop the flow of life in the blink of an eye!

Do we realise that nature may be less forgiving next time?

Premium MemberCharisma Is My Vaccine

~ Chzarisma is my Vaccine~

People are frightened of joyous, positive souls.
They cling to paper masks, sanitizers and paper towel rolls!

They will not get near me for a chat.
Too ignorant to know that Sir Death knows exactly where you are at!

Locked behind doors, no humans in sight!
That kind of living gives me a fright.

A mask is no protection at all.
Unless its the kind of mask a surgeon wears, these cannot be bought
at a mall.

Car wrecks, falling down stairs, heart attacks, diabetes,
drugs or booze!
Anyone of the above can get you, sorry but you cannot choose!

Take back all your freedoms and your own life!
Stop hiding from Death, we are all in his sites.

The virus is never going away, it mutates and is here to stay!
Don't you get it? Get out there and live happily every day.

God is the center of this universe!
Stop believing we are living under a curse!
