Medusa arrived like most dandelions
All over the place with a bobbly head
She was an anomaly, a work of art.
She exuded a rareness; she was unique.
I watched her fill up the dandelion patch.
She overtook her sisters and brothers.
A giant in their midst, Medusa was a catch.
I lugged strangers into my yard to see her.
She is no dandelion! Some would say.
Then what is she? They would examine her.
Some wanted to take her apart in dissection.
I sent them packing.
I stopped bringing strangers in to peer at her.
I felt I had violated her trust enough already.
The other dandelions started turning.
I photographed proof of Medusa.
So it turns out we were cooked on slow burner until now and
the new mutant catches us by fire -- doctors must be going
through catechism drill, we 're bred to their natural trust.
Ah venomous serpent, wretch you, we shall one day build a
monument for the millions you swallowed up with words, lost to a
lunatic virus, the demon of our day that swung us to disaster, gone
is the splendor of healthy living, farewell, farewell. We must throw ourselves
a thousand shades of light, a mantle stiff with eagle talons that sink in the skin
of the innocent. The bloodstain laurels of a stalemate until the vaccine works it magic and the hour comes rasping to our hopes, not the temper tantrums of a mutating virus locked in its horizon. I greatly fear, regardless of the vaccine, the rising heat in its kitchen!
Bring a character to life.
I bring a character to life
Like video games hard core and might
Her eyes is white a glowing
Like mutant with all her glory
In dark leather from head to toe
Her armer grow every second she glow
Defeating enemies from every angle
Her powers grow like mother nature with every flow
Call in the elements of air, earth, fire, water.
They all obey for she a earth sign which they know
Resurrect all the ancient warriors and on the go
Her anger grew even from her chant it show.
I bring the character to life. And make it grow
Like a video game that we all know.
Mutant,
Hosted lament,
Growth yielded dying fiend,
Rancor malice abort bastard,
Hallowed.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
A large Turtle sits on a beach watching the light reflecting off the sea
This Turtle swims in the ocean and sometimes he stops to eat
Slowly he goes about his business with no great questions or answers to complete
He is at peace with the world and the world has no conclusions to possibly reach
He is however part of this world in which a turtle could not possibly answer to be impeached
Yet no accountability is any defence in a court of law to find a person guilty or breach
But again and again in my mind Mutant Ninja Turtles contradict this idealistic beseech
I want to be sure that in no way shape or form a Turtle could be colluded into becoming a member of an Italian Mutant Ninja Turtle group on a beach.
Morphed into what you've been running from all this time,
You stretch and scratch at your newborn skin,
You crushed the once so sweet sublime,
With a new unruly, crooked grin.
Your mind, over-ridden by remote control,
Or perhaps for no reason to be explained,
You laid us beneath a six foot hole,
With a mind untroubled and a heart unpained.
I watch in silence as you conform,
Your body melds with flesh and bone,
Your beauty and love for me, deformed,
And your face is not the one I've known.
In front of me, the mirrored man,
Of all you've ever learned to hate,
I know it wasn't what you planned,
But it wasn't only left to fate.
I cannot hide from my disgust,
I try to my might to turn away,
But you're the one who let it rust,
And broke me down again, today.
A stranger stands where you once stood,
Birthed from your greed and your neglect,
Don't come around my neighborhood,
What else could you come to expect?
Faceless drifter, who are you?
You tug and rip apart my chest,
A zombie and your loyal crew,
I wish to you the very best.
